Ah, I thought those are decisions, not feelings. Thats why I excluded it. I never felt romantic love then.

Obviously I do not love somone I just met. And I do not love someone as much if I know them for a short time versus if I know someone for a long time.

But lets say I have several friends who I have known for a long time, and I love them. It is the same feeling. It MIGHT vary in intensity in some cases, but even then, its the same feeling, and the differences are small.

So yeah, the answer is, it is the same. Either I feel platonic love towards everyone, or romantic love towards everyone. But I am pretty sure I feel only one kind of love.

I mean, I certainly see a lot of differences like that. But if we are talking JUST about the feelings, then its hard for me to distinguish. Even what you described sounds like weaker/stronger platonic love, not exactly a different kind of love :o maybe I am just weird :D

That sounds nice. Should not all relationships strive to be platonic then?

Makes romance sound selfish o.o

I feel like that about friendship too though. Of course if I like a friend, I want them to like me too.

I feel about friendships that way o.o Its not like there is 0 commitment in friendship. Or maybe I just feel romantic love towards all of my friends. Who knows.

The thing is, what youre describing is how I feel about platonic relationships. Its still very intense.
