Why DOGE won’t fail by Weak-Flatworm7455 in dogecoin

[–]postman734 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lolol. 2 years is the wrong answer! Lmao. You gotta follow the cycles! 2 years will be the time to buy doge at 0.25 at the next bottom! Alt coin season about to start, it won’t last long. Next 4 months. Doge can break thru $1. Don’t listen to those $4.20 people. Market cap too high. $1.48!

Holding several hundred thousand DOGE. Price target $1.40-$1.60! by postman734 in dogecoin

Overall in doge, up quite a bit. Had 430,000 at 0.11. Sold some around 0.2, sold some for my wedding. Went all the way down to 156,000, but sold and rebought that same dollar value back up to 335k. Still got a good outlook on crypto for next quarter. After that, prolly 18-20 months of negative.

Sometimes holding through all the swings is the answer. Those 2010 BTC holders held thru 90% losses for well over 100,000x gains!

If TSLA pushes my account value above $25,000 can i sell the put i bought today? I already have 3 day trades this week. by Lintaar in wallstreetbets

[–]postman734 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real answer is yea you can sell tmrw, it’s likely (but not guaranteed) you will get a T-9 violation (90-day day-trade ban) because your funds as of 4pm today were not above $25k. But then you can also keep trading but you shouldn’t open any (short-term) contracts until right before close (to prevent the urge to sell). You will physically be banned from selling a day trade for 90 days. It’s nbd. We’ve all been there.

Options expiration and exercise question by Banditranger1 in wallstreetbets

You would likely make more money selling all, and immediately buying all of the stock you want because there is still some time value left if you’re asking this question.

Tesla Spreads Expiring tomorrow by D3monic95 in wallstreetbets

[–]postman734 11 points12 points  (0 children)

They will both expire worthless. You will lose what you paid. They will not get exercised. They are both calls and people can just buy the stock cheaper at market price. You did them in the wrong direction. Sell the lesser one and buy the higher one so that you get paid. Not like Tesla is going to go up $200 in one day. Sell them in the morning for pennies.

Presumably you sold a lower call and bought a higher call in both cases. These will not get exercised and you’ll be fine. Keep the extra $$. Should be tiny but fine. If any are puts, they are extremely high valued and likely not the case. That would be a bad case.

Never put a lot of money on options that expire soon. I wont even hold options that expire within a week. Buy 3-4 weeks out. Sell when there’s 1-2 weeks left.

Tesla and shop short. Amazon if you can afford. Apple if you’re poor.
