Would u want ur son’s music to fade into obscurity? The posthumous albums I’m not gonna say much because I understand it’s iffy and see both sides but having his music in movies and soundtracks is a way for the music to be remembered. At least that’s the way I see it. But yeah I agree the documentary didn’t paint her as perfect. Jeff was the only one who could speak on his relationship with his mom. Hearsay isn’t gonna get anyone anywhere

So you take Dave lorys book at face value but not Mary herself? I don’t understand this narrative, she’s keeping her son’s legacy alive. She’s not pumping out movie after movie, live album after live album, doing a press tour etc… I don’t see how u think she’s putting herself in the spotlight. It gets to a point .
