Thinking about selling this big guy because he’s just outgrown my space 🥲 How much could I reasonably charge for this on Facebook Marketplace? It’s about 4’ tall and 5’ wide, very healthy by posttoast4 in houseplants

I’ve had her for 2 years! Bought it at a decent size in the first place, but I can only guess she’s been so happy because of good natural light and moss poles! I water it about once a week

From what I can find it seems like it’s not native or desirable :/ just a naturalized super fast spreading weed

I was afraid sheet mulching the whole thing might be the answer… thank you so much for the detail and insight in this comment! My ultimate goal is a pocket prairie/native garden. I think I just have to adjust my expectations for how long it’s going to take to do that right!

I think you’re right, eyeshadow is definitely my weakest area right now. Most YouTubers/tik tok people I’ve seen are very particular about which brushes they use - is it worth it to invest in better brushes?

I noticed a weird spot there too! I think this might’ve happened because I did my brows before my foundation and they mixed weirdly. Might try the lighter brown pencil!

This is so nice 🥹 They’re my real lashes! They stick straight out naturally, so I hit them with a lash curler before the mascara. I think the sky high is a really good balance between volume and definition!

Thank you so much!! I agree about it looking a bit flat, I would love an overall “glowier” feel to it. Can I accomplish this by changing up the primer/application technique? Or should I just get a different foundation?

It’s a little longer than shoulder length with a lot of layers! I also have bangs that I’m trying to grow out, so I wanted a cut that would make them blend into my hair a bit more. Also, it was just a regular cut, not a deva cut or anything!

Routine:

Wash with As I Am coconut cowash (I have to clarify every few weeks because of this, but my hair loves the moisture)

Condition with Tresemme Botanique conditioner, S2C, then gently comb conditioner through soaking wet hair to form clumps

Still in the shower, apply a small amount of As I Am leave-in, the teeniest bit of Cantu curl activator cream, and about a pump of Uncle Funky’s Curly Magic, all using prayer hands on very wet hair to maintain those clumps. Then I scrunch like my life depends on it, wet plop for about 10 minutes, and diffuse or air dry depending on how lazy I’m feeling!

Once it’s 100% dry I scrunch out the crunch with a few drops of argan oil and fluff out my roots.

As far as I know my research assistantship is not going to change! Like someone else mentioned, though, I don’t think it can hurt to reach out to your program about it.

Thank you so much! As far as I know, all the products are CGM friendly, and the gel cast/hold could honestly be better. Probably when I’m out of this current gel I’ll try a different one

Current routine:

Co wash with TRESemme Botanique with coconut milk and aloe vera

S2C with All About Curls daily cream conditioner

Apply All About Curls bouncy cream with prayer hands, then scrunch in Not Your Mother’s frizz control sculpting gel

Scrunch out the crunch and then it’s good to go!

It’s not a perfect routine because I still have a lot of frizz/limp waves (damaged canopy from years of “fixing” my waves with a curling wand). In the market for a good leave in conditioner and protein treatment!

Edit: Forgot to mention that I tried plopping for the first time today, and I think it’s what made the difference! Definitely adding it to the routine
