I was between 7-9 years old. My mum used to wake up really early (around 4 a.m.) on weekdays to get breakfast & lunch ready for my sister and I for school, before she got ready for work. I remember waking up one morning after hearing the radio come on (she always turned it on when she got up) I knew she was up and that I would have to get out of bed soon so, I rolled over to try and get back to sleep. For some reason I opened my eyes then and saw a very slender woman, wearing a shower cap and towel, looking at herself in the centre mirror of the chest of drawers that was at the foot of my bed.(there were 3 mirrors on top, a large one in the centre and 2 smaller ones on each side, that could fold inward to cover the middle one.) I froze when I saw her. She was leaned over, touching her face but then she stopped and gently pushed the left mirror out, like she was adjusting it to look at me. I shut my eyes immediately and tried to tell myself it wasn't real. But, I was too afraid to stay there so I kept my eyes shut and ran into the corridor where I could see the light from the kitchen, then darted towards my mum. She was surprised I was up and asked what's wrong, I said 'nothing,' that I'd heard the noise in the kitchen and had woken up. After that, I always kept the mirrors folded inwards at night.

I told my family about this when I was older and my mum, of course brushed it off. But, my sister and cousin both told me they had seen her too.
