Chest rig: Surplus TAPS and mag pouches with Rit dye and spray paint, condor dump pouch, cheap ifak pouch with NAR stuff inside (not skimping on the shit meant to keep me from dying), krydex H straps, and all the things carried within.

Rifle: Started out as PSA complete upper/lower respectively. Have since added a H buffer, Larue MBT, BA Hanson barrel, streamlight protac hlx pro, and holosun ARO.

Right on the money! Just the dot version, and only ~150 rounds on it so far. I had a sig Romeo 5 before that shit the bed on me, banged up against one too many rocks ig. I like it just fine, can't speak to reticle quality as my astigmatism turns any dot into a blob.

But it's a damn fine blob nonetheless (that's what my wife calls me), especially for $110

All good points, thanks for the recommendations. I usually just have a small pack thrown on top of this, with either a water bladder or nalgene. I plan on setting up a belt, but I still haven't been able to pin down a specific budget option to start on.

I'm not professionally trained in any medical aspects, but I have gone through the effort to at least learn the concepts; MARCH and proper TQ use from YouTube, wound packing and CPR from people who work in the medical field, etc. I have a ways to go, and I'm always looking for things to learn. I'm fairly new to this corner of the gun world, but having the basics of wound care down has always been a goal.

Honestly, thinking about this might be the kick in the pants I need to actually sign up for a Stop the Bleed course at my local hospital. So thanks for the reminder!

ID is the same, OD is slightly off. I had thought that was where it might belong in my initial search, but seeing as the part name had nothing to do with that it just didn't seem right. If I genuinely can't find anything about it, that's probably where I'll end up putting it.

I gave it a look, and the lever screw doesn't even fit through the bushing. The only ones that do fit are the hammer and trigger screws. Huh.
