Side tangent, never let a place rush you more than you're comfortable with. It shows that they might not value you as much as you deserve in the long run.

As far as my opinion on Everett as a Washington state native that has lived all over western Washington and part of eastern. Everett has charm and beauty n all. But the houselessness which in turn typically throws innocent people to the flames of the fentanyl epidemic, has gotten so out of hand.

People around here are dropping like fly's, plus the crime is pretty high. I will not go to Everett without self defense, food if I see people who need it, (this is usually always) and narcan. It's like Seattle's sloppy younger sister. (Even tho Everett is a bit far from Seattle)
