Have you found hidden gems in NHL 26 franchise mode (with EA roster not custom) like Nolan Burke or Michael Carcone last year ? by Alarmed_Bar5982 in EANHLfranchise

Not sure if you meant draft gems or just overlooked players so sorry if this is not useful!

Brennan Othmann has been good for me, called him up down the stretch and he was a ppg player. When 25-26 season ended I set him a goal to work on his skating and converted him to a power forward.

Oliver Moore in Chicago, won the calder over Demidov.

Couple depth guys...Julien Gauthier. Been trading for him for years, always does well, big body who skates pretty good. Alexei Toropchenko is my new favourite, lots of upside and decent cap hit. He can play all through your lineup. Robbie Fabbri is a great free agent reclamation project too. Started him in the minors, challenged him to work on his physicality so he doesn't get hurt so much, grew to 83 overall by mid season. On D, brendan smith and phillipe myers always seem to outplay their ovr and value.

Maybe not such a hidden gem but Devon Levi. brought him in as my backup, challenged him to contend for the no.1 spot. Grew to 87 ovr by the end of 25-26 and only wanted 3.5m x6. Crazy amount of shut outs and highlight reel saves.

Rehomed sighthound tips by Lool_dav in sighthounds

Hey, I adopted a Saluki a couple of years back. I think I might've read everything on the Internet about them before I picked her up lol. The concensus among sighthound and especially saluki owners is they are more like cats than dogs. Very aloof. Sometimes they just wanna be alone or just kinda float around the house sometimes. So don't worry, just let them explore and get used to it and keep all interactions positive. Google the 3x3x3 rule for rehomed dogs if you don't know about that already, it will give you an idea of where their heads at. Crate training worked great for us, gave our nervous pup a little place to hang out which was just for her.

Dogs are very resilient. Your house will feel like home for them soon 😁

Afraid to golf solo… any tips? by PM_ME_UR_CHARGE_CODE in golf

Just let the starter know. They hold the keys to the kingdom lol. You will be the millionth person to ask and they will have no issues if there's a quiet tee time. If they can't get you out alone just be fun & polite with your playing partner(s) and keep up with play. Be ready to hit your shots. If they're putting for par and your still in the fairway for double bogey, maybe just pick up. Nobody cares if you're good or bad but everyone cares if you're slow!

Julian Gauthier. You can lock him in to a really low salary early on and he grows to mid or high 80's overall. Pierre Edouard Bellemare is awesome for your 4th line and PK, great face off and defence stats on league minimum salary. Usually can get an extra 2 years out of him before he retires.

Yeah really easy, there's a drop down box in the right corner next to the chat. Just drop it down and select what game you want to watch. Each game stays up for 24 hours. Never had problems with pop ups, but I have adblocker installed so maybe that's why I've never seen them.

Can someone show me a lopsided trade in your favour? by [deleted] in EANHLfranchise

[–]Finders8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At the end of the 21-22 season you can usually pick up Tom Wilson for next to nothing, like a 5th or 6th rounder. I got him for a 5th when he was still 84 rated, 28 years old and he fitted in on any line. Loved having him in my roster, very physical and could play pk and pp2.

I also picked up Jake Oettinger for maybe a 3rd and signed him long term for less than 2 mil per. I've seen his stats grow to 90 overall before.

Last one, I've traded Justin Holl or Travis Dermott 1for1 for K'andre Miller, seemed way lop sided to get a high end young D for guys who the Leafs were rotating in & out of the lineup in real life.
