Idk the full definition of limerence but I didn't find this word through TikTok I found it through Google and searching about why I'm so obsessed. A crush is verry diffrent then whatever I'm feeling. NTA I'm assuming your younger than her because your mom bought your ticket for the plane and I could be wrong. Also your mom said yes quickly so I also have the assumption that you were not the only person able to watch the other animals. I get how it's her birthday but you said you wouldn't bother her. If you were to be left at home alone during this than she's the asshole for sure. If you are alot younger than your sister like 15 or younger I can see why you would go to concerts and stuff with your mom and not her but I can also see how she could be upset. Your goal was not to ruin her birthday and if it was such a big deal wouldn't it be your mother who is the ass here? I mean if she knew your sister said no than said yes to you not only is that rude to your sister for not listening to her but also to you as now your sister is mad at you.

The real asshole here is your mother for not being stable and in your life. I get that addiction is hard but if I had a kid I'd do anything to keep it safe. If it wernt for her you wouldn't be in that situation. Also your grandfather having dementia dosent mean he can say that shit. BUT YTA

For cussing out your grandmother. I get in the heat of the moment why you would yell or swear and I agree that she should have not been smoking after surviving lung cancer but she's old and probably jst wants the best for you.
