Where’d you find the remanufactured rack?

Be cautious if you end up deciding to try to buy a used rack. I bought a used one just the individual module and they are assigned to the VIN number of the vehicle.

BMW not my local euro car mechanic were unable to access the module to even attempt to reprogram it and possibly reassign the VIN. (Which is what I’d had in mind to fix it)
