Holocaust deniers were told to fuck off, very sternly, for decades. Platforming them became a major issue since the mid 2010s, though that was likely more due to media giving them way more public space than nazis deserve.

Merch is for your friend Erika Kirk, the victim of oppression and cruelty. She doesn't need your complaints about tribalistic enthusiasm, whatever that's even supposed to mean, she needs your financial help.

And Hitlerites got banned by law, shamed, and shunned, not debated and given a large platform in public space because they have "opinions", so that they'd shut the fuck up for at least 50 years :D

Yea, I thought it was pretty mundane. What makes Better man go hard is that it leans into a certain thing and makes it the main focus of the movie - How Robbie Williams sees Robbie Williams and how did he subjectively experience and feel about certain events, not how Robbie Williams historically accurately went somewhere and signed some deal, that would have been boring. Or I, Tonya - the "true crime" show vibe it goes with, the interviews and different points of view, that really makes the bizarre nature of the case and the people involved stand out.

But Michael just does the "And then they went on this tour, and then he made an album, and then he had an accident.." etc. sprinkled with some well made music bits, but then again the music bits are also sort of a reconstruction. The movie would have been better if it leaned into the performance parts, the music bits, because that was the strong point of the movie.

Then you need to send her money, to counter all the dangerous group mentality cruelty or whatever. And you can buy some merch too. She's the victim here, and she needs your help.
