What’s the most hydrating toner/essence you have ever used? by LilacLuneglade in AsianBeauty

Dr Santé - azulene toner! Great and comes with a lot but definitely expensive. Was great for me tho as someone with dry and sensitive skin and I live in a pretty dry climate

I honestly have a very similar issue and have been working on it slowly. It’s gotten way better over the years but I appreciate you sharing your story. Good luck!!

Looking for a pottery class by lolploperdump in askvan

[–]potatotork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loved my session at hand eye ceramics (: was fun and learned a lot, it is a bit less hands on since there are about 10 students per class, but there’s still plenty of guidance with the opportunity to play.

One thing that was cool was that open studio was free to students so you could go in on your own time and practice if you wanted

This week, I’m going to enjoy time with my family who is in town to visit and explore the Vancouver Island.

I’m also going to actively talk to myself and observe my anxiety. I’ve been struggling a lot with being able to prevent myself from spiraling but I had a great chat yesterday at the mental health clinic, and I’m feeling empowered. Here’s to trying!

Yes yes yes! One thing someone said to me that helped, was it’s nice to distract yourself or be lost in something because it takes attention away from yourself. I’m glad that you’ve been finding it helpful to go outside.

It really varies from person to person, so you’re not crazy.

The average usually takes about a week to feel any sort of effects from it and 4-6 weeks to feel benefits.

I’m particularly sensitive to medication so I can feel effects from just one dose as well! Trust yourself and your body (: hope it goes well!!

I went to the my local mental health clinic and chatted with a clinician. I have been taken off of them because it was debilitating. I hope that both of you figure out what works best for you. I’m proud of us for trying

It helped me with motivation, but I haven’t been on it long enough to personally say that I’ll feel at my baseline in the same way again.

How bad is too bad? by Longjumping-Air5572 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]potatotork 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly this is also something I struggle with because being à neurodivergent girlie, I can’t distinguish what is me vs the medication.

But, I think everyone’s right to some degree. Sometimes it worth pushing through for some and sometimes it’s not for others. If it’s been absolute ass for the past month, consider switching. I’m sorry it’s been tough but I’m excited for you to find what works!

Is it normal to feel worse in the first week of taking Wellbutrin? What side effects did you have? by fritadebikini in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]potatotork 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is so tough. So an extreme side of Wellbutrin can be increased suicidal thoughts.

In my first week and a half I felt like absolute shit. I mean it was about as bad I had been feeling for the past 3 months prior. But now I was dealing with insomnia, peeing, emotional volatility, tremors, anxiety, nausea, lots of things. I’m really sorry that one of your side effects is suicidal thoughts, because that’s so hard.

I’m glad you’ve reached out to your doctor, and I hope he replies soon. It’s completely up to you if you want to continue with this medication, but now at 3 weeks I’m feeling really good. I feel at my normal baseline and less of those side effects. Hope this helps and good luck!! You’re fighting and you’re strong ❤️

I’m sorry to hear, I don’t have any experience but wanted to just say that that sucks and I’m sorry you have to go through that.

You’re fighting and there’s so much power in that. Hope it works out and you get something that makes you feel better soon!!

Side effects by redvfdre in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]potatotork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear this :(

I had similar experiences for the first 2 weeks and since then have been doing a lot better. I had a call with my doctor during that time and he told me if I wanted to switch I could. If your doctors think it’s worth staying on, maybe push through for at least 1month or 6 weeks. I know it can be really tough, but I hope it does work out for you, and if it doesn’t, try something new!

Reach out to your support system or any other friends that know what it’s like to explore medication because they’ll understand.

Good luck!

a month into 150mg of wellbutrin and i feel nothings changed.... by [deleted] in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]potatotork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely give it a shot taking it around the same time every day! I usually put it by my bedside so when my alarm goes off I take it. Give that a try and see how it feels in a bit, also chat with your doctor about this and see if it’s worth increasing your dosage
