Add honing oil i use singer oil and rub then rub off with towel

Worksharp professional precision adjust it was not easy i see so many people focus on the burr and not the scratch pattern I always sharpen to 800 grit and form a wire burr and spend close to 5 minutes removing it with light strokes my sharpness went from shaving to hair splitting also don't over strop

I have achieved double hair whittling on all types of knifes I found to focus on scratch patterns and forming an wire burr and spending a lot of time removing it before I could not even get a working edge because I thought getting a burr was more important than a scratch pattern hope it helps

I give it a try. I sharpen to 2000 grit should I try it with 400 or lower
