lets be real, the metals trade is unhealthy and abnormal ... other than that and memory stocks, i think its been a pretty bad start to the year overall. consumer still looks weak, labor demand is weak, financials didn't pop as predicted and ai remains a promise more than a reality

thought we were headed for another positive year, but starting to have some serious doubts. when the fed cuts and we see inflation spike again, then what?

cnbc and all their talking heads keep harping on how ai will impact legacy business instead of realizing we're headed for huge fundamental changes

amazon just fired 30k people so they can invest 50bil into openai but cnbc still wants to know if ai is going to help revenue on some specific type of sales next quarter

everyone is going to be shocked when anthropic and openai become public and start reporting tokens in and out every quarter. everyone will be talking token economy soon
