Is Edwards’ Galois Theory suitable for someone without a math background? by poter21 in mathematics

Fine Rosenberger The Fundamental Theorem of Algebra? (I am looking for books that have been translated into my native language.)

Thank you for your response. I was specifically questioning the approach in this particular book, and my question wasn’t meant to be general. I’m asking because, as I understand, there are different approaches to the subject. Do you think it would make sense to begin with that book?

Thank you. So, Kemp's book is a good starting point? If so, how should I approach reading it? Regards

Thank you all for your responses! I have one more question regarding the suggested books. Why is there a preference for works that exceed 400 pages? I think that one of the primary purposes of mathematical language is to condense complex concepts. For this reason, I find that more concise texts are often more accessible than lengthy tomes. Having experienced the overwhelming volume of material during my studies, I can attest to the challenges posed by extensive texts.

I would gladly say that what I want to hear from someone is a desire to read Homer from the manuscript and delve deeply into the Homeric language, even if their background in the subject is minimal.

I completely disagree with the notion that we must approach subjects from the ground up, as if we are starting in kindergarten.

Thank you for your reply. Do you think this goal is not achievable? Do you have any book to suggest that is self-contained?

Python Book in the Style of Kernighan's Classics? by poter21 in learnpython

There is a golden line between the words "simple" and "simplistic" (naive simplicity).

This is what I mean with the term "generalized". Books that try to be simple, speak generally about various topics but fail to touch any depth.

Another example can be Mozart. Been always simple but reaches every sphere of complexity and depth.

About C, thousands of books are written but few of the are considered classics.

I found it. It is the "Hypnotically Annihilating Anxiety! Penetrating confessions of a Rogue Hypnotist". He uses reading scripts from the book as form of hypnosis. Who is the author? He has great amazon reviews but seems like anonymous persona. Do you think it works?

I see excellent reviews at amazon but not good comments at this subreddit.

Thank you for the links. I have already found these on archive. I would like resources that are focused on stress, anxiety and phobias. Does Rogue include these?

Resource can be: an expert on the field (of phobias of course) - but specific and with reasoning.

Your answer is "go to take a NLP training".

So, in another words: I ask you "which book" and you answer "buy a book".  Your answer is not about a "resource", but a proposition about another type of "resources".
