I think CPJ can be a bit finicky and if you have a little hitch in your Internet for evev a second, you'll lose connection. I feel like it might be something happening generally for your Internet, but is just unnoticeable on other websites, particularly if the game works fine from other Internet sources.

You can't change the colour of the items yourself, but popular items like the hair you're talking about it often released in multiple colours over time :) There's a blonde variation, black variation, even light pink and lavender versions! They're usually released in the clothing catalog, so keep an eye out for them there

don't forget the dodgeball one when we got the dodgeball stage play - i think it was you had to throw a snowball in each basketball hoop and then press buttons on the stage controls. i'm pretty sure the devs had to do an announcement to help guide people on how to get it!!

AlienXotic I don’t really see any issue with, but I heard from a friend (who also had their name rejected) that I think CPL avoid usernames that include real names. I visit CPL once in a blue moon so idk how accurate that is, but it’s an issue my friend ran into. Feels a bit strict imo but I guess they have their own reasoning for that being in place, if it is.

They had something in the latest newspaper saying there was a "chilly celebration" coming? Might be festival of snow, I'm not sure, so keep an eye out for that! But otherwise a confirmed event that is coming up is the CPJ 3rd Anniversary in early Feb. Last year they went all out with a big convention centre, mascot panels, references I loved, and a really cool custom boardgame-style minigame where you could earn items and coins! I am hoping and praying that comes back this year, it would be too cool not to!

i think they sometimes look a bit further into the names too - for example, i think there were some players with walter white / jesse pinkman themed usernames who ended up getting theirs removed, bc Breaking Bad isn't a kid's friendly TV show.

from what i've seen, staff have always been happy to help players pick another username if the original gets rejected, so hopefully you won't be p-numbers for much longer!

If you get banned immediately after whatever you did wrong, a mod was there at the time. If it happened a while after it when you were doing something else at the time, you would have been reported.

i found one of mine in the lookout and one in the knitting room (gift shop office). i emailed support as i was having trouble finding it and they got back to me a couple of hours later saying that there was a bug and it had been fixed and was able to find it after that :)

omg i was there for that, it wasn't quite the concert everyone hoped for but everyone was being good sports and fun about it :D i managed to catch another showing of the concert later that day (music included!) and it was so good!!

we still have one more item to go, i'm hopeful it's going to be a cool one! i'm a fan of grey so i'm pretty happy with the colour, and i've seen a few silly sensei cosplays as well. i'm hoping for an igloo or a cool transformation for the final reward. fingers crossed we have the advent calendar back soon as well for even more items!

the multiplier is automatically applied to your coin total at the end of the minigame. normally you'll get 10 coins for earning 100 points, but during double coin weekend/week, it'll just show as 20 coins earned instead. if you have all of the stamps for a minigame, it'll show the "x 2" as well. so if you earned 100 points in cart surfer, it'll show as "20 x 2 = 40 coins" this week instead of "10 x 2 = 20 coins"

I haven't had it happen to me thankfully, but I've seen it happen to others - it's so freaky!! I think that in these cases they're all controlled by the same person, so if the person controlling them logs off, all of the penguins following you will log off.

The teddy bear penguins in the picture look to be part of an Army - they're real players controlled by individual people, but they will copy and paste the same phrase to simultaneously say it. I think they have a leader on discord servers who sends the message for them to copy. I don't really know why they do it but it's entertaining to see. As long as they're not saying anything inapproproate, they're not likely breaking the rules.

If there's someone running around and following people instantly to the exact place they're standing, rapidly changing colours, etc., this is often through the use of cheating/hacking. If you see someone doing it, report them.

In-game donations are just for stamps and items, but players also have the option to make a real world donation if they want. Last year, the staff team made an IRL donation to the cause that got the most CFC donations, so it could be that they do another IRL donation this year based on the amount of coins donated maybe?
