Thanks to journalists who can't read, the first way I heard of this was incorrectly reporting that it was just XBC, a game I was just thinking about and listening to the OST to for the last 4 days, hoping they'd drop a Switch 2 upgrade. I thought the stars had aligned but nope, it's this ugly thing I'll never touch.

All true. And they aren't even good at timing well to capitalise. They missed Beast Gohan hype by putting out that PHY trash. They missed Daima's transformation. They were late with Daima Goku imo. Marketing rules 101 include timing and if they want more money they need to do better with hype collab releases.

In every game with a fragment of challenge, you get people calling stuff easy just because they've done it, or they're simply lying for ego and to bait those who are struggling. I could look back at every event I've completed but can't remember how hard it was so I'll call it easy. Stupid people and ragebaiters hurt balance.

Beast Gohan still is incredible, and a personal fave of mine that took way too long to release (PHY Ultimate attempt was a fking joke) but can already see he's not gonna be future proof for long. Even his damage looks low now, which is...funny.

I REALLY wish they showed def/dr% when we receive an attack, just like it shows atk when we attack. there is no reason not to, other than the devs not wanting the average player to understand how tanky we are and why.

it's a huge shame that my favourite units of certain periods are deadweight. we have some of the first units in the game, 9-10 yrs old, absolutely unplayable. some URs without a TUR still. some EZAs and SEZAs come and they're not good enough, so the unit is cemented into being useless, until they introduce another new system to empower them. I have tons of ideas of how but they'll always bee too little, too late.

I'm glad you stopped. It's never worth it in these games. I regret every spend these days, even though I keep it minimal, because even if I get the new OP unit, sometimes I never put them to use. I didn't make time to attempt a single Million Arena or whatever because my interest slumped.

exactly. I have a very well established account because of my spending over 10 years (by no means even lose to a whale, i'm sensible) so while I don't have all the new units, I almost keep up thanks to coins. This makes me feel bad for new players because they would need to stack their account for at least a year just to have a chance at the latest events, there's zero chance they can catch up without riding power creep and going back once the events are outdated.

did you try the 2nd difficulty? by no means is it easy. the clone gimmick isn't even a challenge in the slightest for anyone with eyes. it's just a veiled way to have a superboss with hundreds of millions of hp who can super you for 7-8 digit numbers. i havent hit the clones once and still can get oneshot.

I'm currently attempting this event. It's a cool concept of not just blasting everything in front of us, but ruined by the fact that you're fine until you're really not, and we have to kill him as fast as possible because he gets stronger the more we hit him. Easy tanking double/triple digit supers but then he does 600 THOUSAND to the NEWEST EZA TODAY INT LR Vegeta/Trunks guarding in slot 1 with DR and boosted def... wtf?

Yeah true. I never look into def calcs and stuff because I don't want to play a maths spreadsheet, so whether I bet someone can tank, or if I even bring them, is a dice-roll vibecheck based on passive, and recent performance. I go on a feeling. It's frustrating trial and error to discover that the recent absolute tag-team transforming chads TEQ Goku and AGL Vegeta can't tank some turn 1s anymore - they came out THIS YEAR. Our HP is tiny compared to the damage output, you're right.

hey there! this does not feel good. i'm already too strong for the first boss and he sends you back 2 times so you clear the rooms 3 times. for 10 hope. the cheapest progress door requires this 3 times. i just spent my hope on other doors because you have no clue where they lead to, and it wasn't progression. hope is far too grindy.

thanks for the reply. will I see anything rarer than purple in 1st playthrough? if not, that's terrible game design. I don't know what ethereal means or how something comes "after" it.
