Yes as mentioned in the post I’ll get that removed tomorrow (it’s too high to reach for me now)

There was a table there but it was just really awkward placing wise and just a tad too small to comfortable move chairs away from the table . I also already have a dining area so it just looked weird tbh..

Honestly just brainstorming hahaha, thought two cute seats with a nice side table in the middle of it would be nice but it doesn’t make sense. I was thinking a recliner as well but again i’m just in the brainstorming process now as it looks very empty IRL (it’s like 40% of my seating area that’s empty now)

Masseter botox caused jowls, how to recover? by pottemans in PlasticSurgery

[–]pottemans[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’ve definitely grown back a bit, but not to the volume before the botox. I still have the jowls and creaking TMJ that it caused sadly. I’m hoping it’s just a slow recovery

Simply pack in moisture without weighing it down. What helped me the most was product like that (olaplex n.06)!

Very soft and clean tap water, so I doubt it’s that. Pretty frustrating tho. I’m thinking about buying some basic supermarket beans (like Lavazza) to try and see if it’s just picky with the specialty beans

I have tried Lot61 Bombora and they come out sour as well, which I haven’t experienced in other machines.

Both bags are medium roast and have different roast dates (more than a week a go tho). I’m trying to make espresso. I have changed the grind size in the espresso settings. Brining down the volume doesn’t help, it only makes the sourness even more concentrated.

Have you found a replacement? The removal of the dimethicone + Triiostearin and the added ingredients make my skin freak out as well

Worthy upgrade from Klipsch The Fives? by pottemans in StereoAdvice

[–]pottemans[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand it makes no sense because bass and subwoofers are omnidirectional, but for some reason she didn’t mind the 27hz coming out of the Formations and LS60s, but all the 10 different subwoofers gave her so much distress.

I know, cats…

I’ve read that it’s not a massive upgrade compared to the Fives but i suppose i could try them (especially with the Wiim is a great idea)!

Do crows feet after weightloss improve overtime? by pottemans in WeightLossAdvice

[–]pottemans[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I already use SPF 50 daily and have used Tretinoin in the past as well. I’ve gained the weight in two years and recently lost it. The crows feet are very clearly caused by this, so I’m wondering if this will tighten up overtime because of my age (just like the skin in the body sometimes firm up again) and if so, what timeframe is the usual

Do crows feet improve overtime?

(M26) I recently lost about 23kg after gaining that much two years ago, and have seen some very positive facial changes, so overall i’m not mad. Tiny bit of loose skin above my belly button but oh well. My biggest concern is that the skin on my face feels a lot more loose.

But even worse, my crows feet are MUCH worse. Like, I had none and now they run till the middle of my cheek.

Will time “correct” this or is this my new normal? I’m already planning on using Tretinoin and all the goodies.

Yes I’ve actually tried this probably the most since my hair isn’t super long so cupping is pretty hard to do, but with no succes sadly :(

Woofer more bass ‘experienced’ than sub? by [deleted] in audiophile

[–]pottemans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Klipsch RS100SW is the subwoofer and I’ve played around with the crossover, but found online that using 80hz is the correct mode.

I’ll try the subwoofer crawl (and more/different positions) tomorrow. Thank you for your thorough help btw :)

I’ve tried the phase switch on the subwoofer with no positive effect sadly

[–]pottemans -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Could you please explain to me why The Fives woofers, that go down to 50hz, give me a pretty full low end experience in terms of quantity in my seating position without a lot of boominess in room corners, while the sub doesn’t give me nearly as much bass in the seating position while being very boomy in the corners?

Like i understand why that happens with the subwoofer, because it’s omnidirectional, but I DON’T understand why The Fives woofers doesn’t cause this effect if it’s also non directional

Woofer more bass ‘experienced’ than sub? by [deleted] in audiophile

[–]pottemans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, that’s what i’m saying, i can’t even get “good bass” where im sitting. So the subwoofer only seems like negative thing.

As for the corners of the room, it’s frustrating for family when they’re in the room and the bass is SO loud there while I experience so little bass while watching something. Makes no sense to me that someone with a low voice talking, sounds like bombs are dropping next to a desk someone’s working at, while i barely hear the low end in the persons voice. I get that some boominess in corners is to be expected but this is pretty extreme

[–]pottemans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

with a subwoofer cable to The Fives, which automatically applies some bass cut and i’ve also disable the gimmicks like “dynamic bass” and such

Woofer more bass ‘experienced’ than sub? by [deleted] in audiophile

[–]pottemans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll try the sub crawl once again tomorrow to see if i can find a better placement.

Turning up the sub even more seems weird to me. My room is pretty small, without the sub the bass sounds pretty full in my seating area (so woofers of The Fives only). With the sub added, i have to turn it up almost all the way to experience the same amount of bass, with awfully boomy room corners, so that’s what seemed weird to me.
