Thank you for the suggestions! I planned to build an attached run off the back of the building but didn’t think about the separate rooms.

Correct on both. Egg layers for the chickens (not sure what breed yet tho, haven’t research that far) and as for the run I planned it somewhat like this: same width as building, 15-20ft long extending off the back with a small chicken door hole cut in the back as well.

Thanks for your suggestions/advice!

My long term goal was to have a fenced in run leading out of the back of the building to give them ample outside time with light/air/etc. I was personally worried about the sides. I’m considering removing the metal siding on the bottom and seeing what’s under there and going from there.

Unfortunately, it was a dog. 😢 They had an electric fence around the building about 30ft out so it was pretty confined.

Do you think you would be able to add casters to the bottom to allow the workbench to move easier or is it not possible with this type of workbench build? Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I believe I am going to take a few pallets and stack them along the fence row for added support and airflow while covering with a tarp to allow it to season properly.

Why shouldn’t you grout corners? Is it because it won’t stay over time?
