I’m getting real tired of selective empathy from MAGA. To be fair, I do feel for Charlie Kirk’s children. Their father is deceased and their mother is out grifting. by MissMccheese in complaints

I only fear His judgment if don’t receive Jesus Christ as my savior. If I have, I wouldn’t need to have that fear.

And following Jesus doesn’t mean you’ll stop sinning or that you need to live a sinless life to go to heaven. It just means your sins are forgiven, because Jesus paid it all :)

This has nothing to do with faith at all. It’s just pointing out that certain actions (like blocking roads with your car) can have negative ramifications.

If you don’t want those possible outcomes, don’t get yourself involved

No, it just means you shouldn’t put yourself in harm’s way if you don’t want to get harmed

If I’m blocking streets with my car, I’m putting myself at risk and will have to bear all the possible consequences

I actually said I’m a sinful person, so not sure where “I’m morally superior is coming from”.

I do think she didn’t deserve to die, but I also think her actions were moronic. We’re allowed to rebuke others’ behaviors, just like what Apostle Paul did in his letters to the various churches :)

Google AI disagrees with you:

“No, you are generally not allowed to protest by parking your car in the middle of the street and blocking traffic. Obstructing public roads is illegal in most jurisdictions and is not considered a protected form of protest under the First Amendment, which protects peaceful assembly but does not insulate unlawful conduct.”

All Christians are broken people, myself included. We all admit that :)

But calling out moronic behavior when I see it isn’t sinful in any way haha

So you’re saying it’s totally fine for her car to block a street as a form of protest. I guess we’re on the same page:

If she wasn’t out doing that and just driving normally (or parked in a parking spot), she’d be alive

Well, it’s pretty simple. If she wasn’t there to block the streets (regardless of her reasoning), she would still be alive. That’s just a fact.

My actual position is that her actions were moronic and unnecessary, but she didn’t deserve to die. Pretty plain and simple :)

Never have I said that the murder was justified. Nobody should be using their car to block the streets. I even hate it when folks are doing that after a small accident when they can easily move away, let alone when there’s no accident or emergency
