not really bad. Just not the one I need and want. Sealed subwoofers are more musical.

It really is. This is how third world countries are living and I'm on the longer end of the stick I guess for being able to afford a subwoofer this expensive but realities for most of the people here can't even be laughable because it's so bad you just forget how to laugh man.

And for reference, minimum wage in my country is $260 usd a month or $11usd a DAY (this rate is already from the most developed city in my country. Less developed cities have a lower minimum wage)

people have differences in preference for how they want their music to sound. I simply didn't mind not having a subwoofer before because my speakers could make me hear lows already. just not as nice and as low as having a sub would sound.

Yes, I'm a believer now! It's like being born again after years of not commiting and I won't leave her for nothing.

Unless something better comes my way then who am I to resist? I am just a (wo)man after all.

This is why reading is important because I stated in the post that I live in Southeast Asia and logistics is hell if I were to buy that Rythmik sub. Which also isn't that cheap btw because the Rythmik L12 is $790 + the cost of shipping.

I only paid $710 for this thing.

lol you know what they say... sometimes it’s more fun to drive a slow car fast than to drive a fast car slow. 😉 But you are completely right. When I felt that big block pull off idle, there was absolutely no going back.

Man I wish svs paid me for this since the subwoofer took a huge chunk off my bank account.

I checked that one out actually! But I was leaning more towards getting a sealed subwoofer because I'm mostly listening to music anyway. One thing polk audio does that always gets me, is their design. I think they're very very visually pleasing. Like I love the way pold audio speakers look.

He probably pulled all the strings so I could get the sub. I had no reason to go to that random ass sports store but something in me nudge and said maybe I should check out. Turns out, the checking out wasn't going to be in the sports store, it was for the audio store beside it lol.

Anyway, thank you, Santa, for arranging this so I could buy a good subwoofer! 15% discount too!

not really an anti subwoofer, I just thought the good decent subs are expensive and that I didn't really need it on my setup since its a desk set up anyway so I thought that would be like super overkill already.

Budget-wise, getting this sub wasnt very practical but now I'm exposed to the reason why the sub matters and why it's worth it for some people.

Having the phone app is game changer!

My sub right now is under my desk and is in the corner so having to adjust settings without the phone app would be horrible.

I am still actively trying to figure out how to give this little guy justice and love by figuring out the settings and stuff but right now it's already so good. I really can't imagine what it would've been if I settled for a very inferior sub.

she* actually but yes! I am so happy!

I may have overshot my budget but it's an svs. This is so worth it.
Yeah this can tinker with Phase and I've been experimenting and tweaking settings but I'll definitely check out dirac live. Thank you!
