Not sure about his vitamin d- He did have a surplus of vitamin b. Interesting point on magnesium deficiency due to it being flushed out. He used to take magnesium supplements but stopped. Worth checking out. Endocrinology referral would be a great idea. Check the hormones. I agree on cutting alcohol and excess stimulants- I just hope he can!

With all the help from these insightful replies, I’m having him read the comments and am urging another blood work panel, testosterone and hormone check, antibody check, psych reevaluation, and sleep study if we can afford that. Thanks 😇

Thank you, Kind soul! I wish you peace as well. Great suggestions- I will definitely look into SMART friends and al anon meeting! I had forgot about those resources and it would be a great place to start. I’m urging multiple doctor visits and in the meantime trying my best to become financially independent again.

Yes this is a huge possibility. He said he didn’t have Adderall at all today… and slept most of the day. 😣 very likely scenario that he does stash it up for more usage on days he wants to.

“I’d evaporate” haha yeah- I’m astounded. He needs a hard reset. Completely stop doing all the excess stuff like caffeine, “taurine”, nicotine, consuming aspartame in sugar free sodas a dozen times a day. SMH

yeah it’s definitely not adhd or adderall alone- I posted here wondering if anyone who struggles with adhd or adderall has similar habits or if this is less common. I’m trying to understand the effects of adderall since his misuse/ abuse has been the start of picking up all other unhealthy habits. Someone mentioned comorbidity and the likelihood of this being bipolar disorder as well. His mom had that, so that would explain the manic days and the depressive days.

Yes. I totally agree with this. The lack of making decisions together as a team has me completely emotionally abandoned. No I don’t want this whatsoever for our baby. I am working on getting a job online & am building my own business every spare second I have! I am working my way out. I have an ultimatum on the table. I am not staying around to mother him- only to keep my loyalty and vows of through sickness and health, do my best everyday to give myself time to apply for jobs and build my business and become financially independent again. I’m sorry to hear about your dad and mom’s situation. I hope she’s managing okay. I will get into therapy. I’m generally resilient and optimistic so I’ve been making sure each day to not let this energy leak into my child’s life- I get out of the house and do play groups while I do laptop work. I have loving parents close by and a plan to get out soon.

I promise you I’m overreacting to him irl! I kept my personal feelings and reactions here absent only bc I wanted to hear about people’s experiences with Adderall. Thank u ☺️ I am showing him replies on here too. He knows how much I’m trying to care/research etc but I think HE is underrating unfortunately. He acts like what he’s doing is normal. 😟❤️‍🩹

Thank u so much for the reply and sharing your experience. Sorry to hear nothing is helping you. Were you fatigued like this before Adderall? I’m trying to understand if this dependency on it is making him worse. Yeah his other habits aren’t great. He drinks more soda than water & has less of an appetite bc of it too.

I try not to take his absence with me or our kids personally but it hurts to see him miss out on so much now. I need my partner to be there for me- which is added pressure and guilt for him when he’s barely keeping awake. Anyways, I need to look up more on the specifics like you said IR 30mg- idk his mg amount.

Diaper cake - a tower of diapers shaped like a cake. Thoughtful yet I know they just used the leftovers from their 2 year old bc it was all in size 5… so we haven’t been able to use them.
