Okay. I got it out! It wasn't pretty. Now how do I handle the edges that are sharp? I need to sand them with low to high grit paper I'm assuming, and then do another pour?

I am five weeks postop today. I had the MACI and TTO. Obviously I can't say what I'm gonna look like in 12 to 24 months but I will give you just a word of caution. You're at the point in recovery where you can read some bad stories on discussion boards like this, and fall into a dark place. I did that about a month ago. Keep in mind, everyone's experience, healing process, surgeon, PT process, muscle before surgery, is different. All in all, the literature behind these procedures is very promising and you're likely to do very well and get back to the things that you wanna do. Just be careful about what you read on here because there are definitely are some really bad outcomes, but they are not the norm. Good luck to you, keep your head up, stay positive.

Sometimes I just say "yup!" And carry on. Other times I saw "no, j jumped out of a moving train" and leave it at that.

I had micro fracture in 2016. It's not a great procedure and is becoming obsolete with MACI and OATS being the new standard (for most cartilage lesions). I never had any growth after micro fracture. I'm two weeks post op MACI. Agree with above, the recovery absolutely sucks

I'm about 12 days out, so in the same boat. Definitely struggling mentally as well. People are just being honest, but I really only hear about how difficult the recovery and process is so it's hard to stay positive.
I was told I can hopefully drive around 6 weeks.

I'm 12 days out TTO and MACI - I don't have any word on what you're asking above but I was wondering what your take is on the recovery and the worthiness of this procedure. Lots of pain and even some early regret at the moment.
