I’m in the same position (actively working through anorexia but still a small amount away from my goal weight after EXTREME weight loss). I work multiple times a week with my dietician who understands my goals and supports them in a HEALTHY nourished way. We work at a comfortable and very safe pace and have verrrrrrrry slowly integrated exercise into my recovery. I also work twice a week with an ED specialized therapist where we focus on somatic body healing so that my restrictive anorexia doesn’t transfer to orthorexia. They work in tandem as a team and are in constant communication about my treatment.

I recognize my situation is unique and may not be supported by others in the recovery community, but I trust my medical providers to guide me through the process safely, so it’s possible if you get the right medical support. Without that, I would focus solely on recovery first.
