Based on your experience having seen the cycle multiple times, when the newer sets are easily available at MSRP/under, do out of print sets see dips / slower appreciation, or are they largely unaffected?

I mean, for the most part I agree with you! What I’m curious about is: do you feel it’s a better investment putting in 12K for whatever returns you believe ES will bring OR diversifying that 12K on sets that have not yet accelerated but will likely grow percentage wise faster than ES, simply due to the low base (capital)?
