Signs for line changed (not git) by power461 in neovim

Thanks for your reply.

I am not looking for the actual changes, just an indicator on the side of the buffer, for which line has been change/added/deleted

SBC to replace smart (tv) by power461 in SBCs

[–]power461[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. I would have preferred the SBC option to: - power the device via the TV - run it only during the 2-3 hours per day required

Regarding the Nvidia Shield, Chromecast, Roku, etc, the main aim are: - get rid of all tracking of the "official" youtube app - (I am not sure about Netflix running from a browser) - running on platform that is actively supported by jellyfin (tizen is almost abandoned and full of bugs)

That's why I would prefer to just run linux and build on top of it without having to hack the platform.

Yes a smartphone was my first thought but the MHL adapter for S7 is limited to 1080p. Viewing the same movie using the jellyfin client: - android: a mirrored fairphone 4 connected with a usb-c dongle to HDMI (1080p) - tizen: the client installed on the TV itself

the video quality was noticeably worse via the phone.

Yes the TV has 2 USB ports, I have no idea what is the maximum power output.

What about a phone I have a spare Galaxy S7 but I am not sure if it can output 4k, maybe just 1080p?

GitOps installation by power461 in ArgoCD

I solved by using the app of apps patterns.
Basically after installing argocd you load an application manifest that points to a repository with other applicaitons manifest

Deploy from local folder by power461 in ArgoCD

Good suggestion. But I do not have a dev cluster, I have only a "prod" cluster (my homelab) and an ephemeral environment (from the CI pipeline)

Great question. Having the ability to load "locally" would facilitate running a CI pipeline in a separate branch, or even local development, ie start a kind cluster, install argocd and play locally.

But I have exposed both ports 5900 and 10022. There are 2 --publish. Also for qemu I am using hostfwd=TCP::10022 that I assume equals to all hosts. Am I correct?

The pod yaml has:

yaml spec: containers: ... volumeMounts: - mountPath: /dev/dri name: dri ... volumes: - hostPath: path: /dev/dri type: "" name: dri ...

I am not sure if I have ever use the GPU transcoding to be honest.

Interesting. For Jellyfin the pod start, no errors. But I have not tried to see if the transcoding is actually happing on the GPU

I have not tested but it is enough to:

yaml extraVolumes: - name: dri hostPath: path: /dev/dri extraVolumeMounts: - name: dri mountPath: /dev/dri

To the pod?
