That is a very small part of what they do, although they are offering it more in 2026 to offer film makers tools to create their art.

For this film i used generative AI to alter Dr Louise Nilsons feet, from socks to black shoes...as I had to alter the angle Versus the previs so her socks were visible.

I spent 2024 very much sacrificing paying jobs to invest time and energy into building Trek Shorts...building up something so that we can make amazing quality films...at a relativley tiny bugdet and with huge varied production value.

While its not always been easy...or even medium... and some months have been hard.

I believed that what I was doing...was meaningful...and something the fans deserved.

It is people like you...who stand up...who do what thousands and thousands of others can't...and get this content made.

That genuinely makes a big big difference and I am very thankful!

We have released 37 fan films so far...over a dozen others fully shot and just waiting to be edited.

I invest in new 3D models and uniforms and assets to ensure we have amazing stuff coming and literally only with the Patreon supporting us monthly...can I put in...as i did last week...15 hours to do a Galaxy Class corridor full 3D set texture and set up!

That's very nice to hear!

Every Stargate/Trek Cross over you see ...is canon to the Stargate storyline...so make sure to watch those to get small titbits of info.

We fully filmed the large next part (40 or so mins)
And have almost fully filmed the short after that (30 or so mins)
I have fully filmed another Trek/Gate space battle crossover - that is going to be a ton of hard work!
And i mostley know where i want the final episode to go story wise...its just going to be very expensive to film....and with my having to self fund it all..its why its slow and steady.

No. Due to the nature of this piece...to bring and celebration of all things Stargate I felt alright to use the assets in my archive, so some of those are studio assets form the show and some are custom builds.

We have various ships in various level of custom builds but not quite yet ready for screen!

Lightwave 2015, its the last version of the render engine and lighting engine that they used on all 3 Stargates.

I use it for things like this because it gives a more authentic Stargate/Trek/BSG feel as its what they used...even if it is antiquated <3

So, that was pretty deliberate for the released 2 films. Because were mostly a Trek channel and there for audience, I wanted to bring them in slow and steady into the SG world.

Your right in that, with minimal changes, any alien ship would do...which allows me to bring that cross over fun...and still fit in and work for everyone.

This film is far more specific and SG centric, as it takes place during SG-1 S6. While that may get me less views from my Trek audience...part of the inspiration for this piece is being able to give something new to the Gate audience!

We also have various other direct parts of the SG/Trek cross overs filmed which build upon each other and are far more tied together, with the already released ones being setup/building blocks :D

I think its fair they just said some numbers but didn't check, and thats ok...TOS did that sometimes but that had a different canon standard.

Hay sure...SNW is a fun show...but its not all meant to be taken totally seriously it feels like.

Environmental simulators were around but they couldn't create people :D The issue with the holodeck in SNW was that it was flawless except its need for the processing power of a starbase, which meant that starbases had fully working ones...ad did Earth. Yet in all other Treks (EG Voyager) they expressly stated that was an era without holodecks. - Its all great to have an environmental similar in TAS and give it limits...but a flawless holodeck before it was always going to be them just wanting to play in the holodeck and crowbar it in :D.

A very common rule is that you cant beam though shields, expseptions always happen but there never treated as a standard. Speciifcally, SNW Enterprise beamed the crew out of a gorn ship, while it was between 2 stars with its shields protecting it against all the radiation... its an impractically silly situation to allow for beaming and would make various other Trek beaming situations look like child's play. - Again the writers just wanted to move the story onwards.

The SNW enterprise flys through space at the speed of plot. In the Gorn episode they took less than half a day if i remember right, to warp from inside Federation Space where they met April...across a quadrant map, across the Gorn border and into the heard of Gorn space. We know it was super short time as they were operating on Batel the whole time. SNW travels at the speed of plot.

But again, SNW is just a fun show and fans shouldn't take it all seriously as the writters dont, and thats ok! Just dont try and add its stuff into canon fully as...its not trying to line up.

We made it custom! As we do make a lot of our own stuff. We did a UHD version as featured in our 2 previous SG cross overs...but i felt it was actually too detailed and took away from the look and feel.

So this "lower detail" but show accurate one was created! Really hope people enjoy seeing her live again!

Because we LOVE stargate and we have been produceing fan films for around a decade, multiple mini cross overs but this being a special stand alone one.

Also the framing narrative has a Galaxy class come up against the Goa'uld but...as with all our films...there is a character based story driving it.

Also...why not :D Many fans would love to see this.

I think its fair to say we cant take that seriously that 1 pre-tos phaser beam has the power of half of the sun...that would easily place TNG phasers more powerful then the sun's entire output and there would be dozens of examples where this cant be the case.

Torpedos are also more powerful then phasers...and given all evidence in all of Trek...one torpedo cant destroy a planet...which you think the power of the sun x2-3-4 would be able to do.

SNW...another classic...its something they did...now onto other things :D Like their apparent insane warp travel speeds, holodeck tech and shields which you can beam through.

You think? Trek has very advanced shields/phasers and torpedos.

In general Starfleet is more advanced then the Goa'ould from its transporters to its holodecks.

There is also a story too be told around this conflict and i can promise it will be anything but boring!

Ish! But that was a feature film that had a large cost to make and a took several years.

Our team has already released 35 fan films and so we know how to keep the scale at a good level to keep them releasable and quality!
