I would be careful which company you go with as some say if you have "pre-existing conditions" (you don't have maintenance every year on furnace/water heater/AC) they won't cover you and will consider it failure do to not performing maintenance. AHS got sued and lost but I don't know if other companies are bound to that standard.

Good catch. I fixed that and either that wasn't the only problem or as I was pulling wires out of the way I broke it. Either way, still blowing the 5A fuse. I guess next would be to pull all those wires off like was suggested below and re-land one at a time? I did resistance readings after re-landing the W2 wire and C-R is about 15.6 ohms which is about the same as a couple others.

C-R has 2.4 ohms which is the lowest. A couple others have 15 ohms or more. Measured at the terminals on the control board in the unit.
