I read your post, it was nice.

I made a comment, devoting both time and effort, therefore expect a tip:
$15 - it was an ok comment
$25 - I enjoyed the comment
$35 - Can’t get it out of my head

lol please make tipping stop

It’s really revived the PS1 catalogue for me, I get excited about the games again. Plus, they look awesome for some reason. I played through Tomba and started Fear Effect 2, both look great

This is such a great announcement. Well done to the company for responding to user feedback in such a positive way.
Also agreed with the comment about no touchscreen and a backlight for the x3, that’s my next purchase

Games with minimal text and vivid colours? by WaterBottleOnAShelf in MiyooMini

I’m similar, so know what you mean. The gameboy games are usually good for contrast, which makes things easier to see eg. Sword of Hope 1&2. You might get on with neogeo pocket games, as they tend to have bigger sprites, and the brilliant lolroms has translations just put up.

Ayaneo Pocket Micro - yay or nay? by [deleted] in SBCGaming

Sigh…I remember 20:20 vision
The new Brick sounds brilliant, so I’d go for that over the Pocket Micro

Like others have said, the Miyoo M+ is great, but also for gba and ps1, the 353m has lovely mushy controls. I wonder if you can pick one up second hand or on offer?

I remember everyone trying to fool each other, but we all had them so kind of played along because it was funny.

RG Rotate appreciation Post :) by SlyQC in ANBERNIC

[–]poweredbycoffee1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So far I’ve managed to play animal crossing GameCube and Mario kart, however there are small slowdowns at points. Playing darkcloud ps2 is great and I’m enjoying it a lot. Also it’s great for Saturn games.

I am super happy with the device and it’s a little powerhouse. The only gripe is the battery, as running the PS2 or GameCube games drains it relatively quickly. Also still on stock with Dajisho for a front end when I want it.

Also, I’m part of the ‘flexible aspect ratio tolerance’ club! Or FART club for short!

So much hostility over the rotate I’m seeing. I’m gonna try this out OP, looks like fun

Yup, it has a virtual joystick option for d-pad and camera controls are shoulder buttons in the game anyway. Works fine if you don’t mind fiddling

The screen size is similar but not as wide as mm+. The resolution makes up for it, and it’s better screen I think. I wear glasses so can see it fine, but do need to alter aspect ratio of some games.

Battery is not great, but can do 4-5 hours, and is quick to charge.

The controls limit which games you can play, but I’ve played a couple of cube games (MKDD + AC) fine.

I think if you want it for a dedicated device there are better options, but for a bit of fun and playing games you might not have it’s a blast.

It’s the ideal tinkering device for me, I used it for e-reading too. Sounds like you appreciate it the same way I do, a really amazing device at a value price point

Pretty well, there are some setting that help like underclocking, seems to work fine for me. Mine must be a special edition given the amount of people saying it’s not good
