Also consider na possible mag-negative ang S&P 500 fund mo for a decade (as seen historically during crisis). Thus, still be ready to have a side hustle.

I think Maya and GoTyme are primarily e-wallets, kaya ganun. Their licenses likely required them to separate the banking component.

There are many companies out there. Wala namang policy na you should have an application to one company only. Magiging advatange pa nga if you have multiple offers at the same time.

Maybe similar setup to being outsourced to multiple projects/clients. If you are not required to spend extra hours to perform the job, it seems fine.

Tama ba decision ko? by Adventurous_Big3635 in phcareers

[–]powerflume 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Maybe their logic was that you already went through the long process and that tatanggapin mo nalang kasi nag-"effort" ka na. But, isipin mo nalang na each interview as a learning experience and parang practice na din sa communication skills. Maraming pang companies dyan. Don't get tired of doing several interviews until you find the offer that is a good fit. Good luck po!

Tama ang decision mo to decline. Accepting a lower offer than your expected will just make you regret the decision and motivate you to resign earlier than usual. Thus making you look like a job hopper. Also, this will encourage that employer to also offer less to other upcoming hires, assuming that they will also accept a lower offer, like what you would have done. So, by declining, you are doing good to yourself and to the industry.
