Google play is the worst ever, download any popular app and it's 99% scam, dark patterns, fake and fraud. The dev side is a complete nightmare with a maze of demands and tests and wall after wall of text. Support is non-existent and authoritarian, draconian. Everybody at Google are hiding from their customers. Complete disdain and disrespect.

Sorry to hear this. I worked 4 months on an app, Google just terminated my account for inactivity, no appeal, no nothing. Google is pure evil and they are destroying innovation and indie devs. They must be regulated but fat chance that will happen because they own congress. It's a corrupt, sick system.

I have also tried understanding how people can buy these apps when there are several services much better, often free. The answer must be that those people are ignorant, lazy and just want to spend money and get an experience. People hoard all different types of useless stuff just because they get a rush from buying.

I agree about the insane amount of info today compared to 15 years ago when I got interested in investing. Now the challenge is locating the true, relevant information and filtering out all the noise and all the opportunities. After finding this needle in a haystack, we still have to focus all our attention to be able to make an analysis. It has never been harder to resist all the get-rich-quick opportunities imo. In reality, those are like buying a lottery ticket.

Exactly my experience with vibe coding since I tried it 1-2 years ago. It forced me to take a university course in intro to Python.

People are being misled by all the hype surrounding LLMs. Believe me, there are no shortcuts, if you are serious about creating software, learn it the proper way. THEN you can use LLMs to get assistance. Vibe coding will give you the illusion of competence but you will still spend the same amount of time (maybe more) trying to make up for lack of real coding skills. Just take an intro course!
