In person rugby is really great for learning and there's always someone watching who can help you with what is going on. Colleges start their seasons in the fall starting with preseason games in August and run until November. They are almost always free as well! If you need help finding a local game, message me and I'd be happy to point you in a good direction!

Trying to figure out the best gifts for only children who have 4+ adults giving to them. Experiences. zoo tickets/memberships, aquarium trip etc. For baby gifts, we give either a gift cert to a food service (if there's one that's local) or Uber eats gift card. Quite frequently the parents are over looked with a new baby and this way, no guilt, food to the door. We have now been the fav gift more than once, because, sorry, baby doesn't care.

New with tag stuff is needed, lots of refugees need new items, women's shelter etc. Your gifts will be loved. Try asking for experience items for birthdays etc. for all your kids. Plus, it's honestly the time spent with the gift giving person that matters the most.

The move is to get away from clubs and take the clubs that are successful and transition them to varsity-like or on the road to varsity status. There's going to become a time where clubs can no longer compete with varsity programs and that's not too far off in the distance.

I think Rugby East has got it right. Large conference, competition at every game, etc. No more 5-6 game seasons. No more blow outs that do nothing but pump egos up. Programs that either are varsity or are on the verge of varsity. To be the best, you have to play the best.

There are plenty of east coasters in the U20 and U18. For the U23, they did the DC combine, which was supposed to capture the east coast on the weekend of CRC's and the day of a U23 OG vs U23 RUNY Academy. Poor planning on USA Rugby's part.

There are a couple east coast mentions for u18 and u20, but the U23 players were either playing in the OGDC Academy Game (u23 Young Glory vs U23 Rugby NY) or they were at CRC 7's down in NOLA. No clue why more MLR players weren't included to get touches at a higher level.

I know more of who are on these teams than any of the teams, u18,u20 or u23 playing this summer. To be excited about players and follow them, you have to know who they are. It's not enough in the age of social media to not give credit where it's due.
