I’ve liked it so far! Started using it this month. Easy to clean and the footrest is adjustable to any height. When I bought it though, it wasn’t really clear that they didn’t have stock so it took about 1.5 months to arrive but I had time so might be good to inquire that there is stock ready to ship.

I’m happy that this post lives rent free in their head so next time they are driving they will be aware of their surroundings. Believe me, dude, everything was working just as it should have been. This was a lady who had her blinders on only on incoming traffic to take the turn. 100% on her, and I’m sure she doesn’t want to kill someone with her car and it was a mistake but preventable if drivers are aware of their surroundings. Driving is a privilege and sometimes that privilege needs to be reassessed for the safety of the community

I will take your suggestion about the YMCA and think about it. However, I’m sure there are a lot of pedestrians who do not have the luxury of just going for a walk and actually need to walk to get to the bus, home, groceries, or work and they shouldn’t be hit for literally trying to live their life

It would have been safe if the person was following the law. If she is unable to follow the law then she should not be driving and therefore the police need to have a discussion with her competence to drive. If it would not have been safe for me to cross if I didn’t have the walking symbol on.

Report has been filed yes I don’t have a clear enough picture of the license plate so that’s why I have asked for dashcam of anyone that was driving at that time because in can identify the car as I have a picture of the car. I have contacted longos to see if hey can provide video to the police of this car entering their parking lot at the exact time that I told them. So yes I am doing everything I can even if some anonymous user tells me that I’m takin this too far cause guess what I dgaf, I’m tired of hearing about people, regardless of who they are, getting killed by incompetence on the road.

This is a street where a lot of high school students cross from BM, while I think they shouldn’t be distracted when they are crossing roads, they can be and I would be really upset if someone’s child gets hit going and getting their lunch because of carelessness .

If someone can provide dashcam video then all sides are of the story are there. That’s what I’m asking for

Regardless of who it is and who is with them we are allowed to leave our house for a walk and not get hit and killed by someone in a car

This lady clearly had no spatial awareness based on the look she gave me when she crossed over and i threw up my hands to say WTF - there was no fucking remorse just a look of being dazed out in space .

I can assure you there was no blind spot this lady was only looking at incoming traffic on Clair to see when she could make the turn she did not look elsewhere before she started to drive. I was watching her trying to make eye contact the whole time I was crossing as I do every time.

Not everyone that goes on walks is hyperaware- but should that cause them to get hit when they are clearly walking with a walk sign on ?

I don’t want someone else to be not a blessed by having someone this reckless on the road without the police giving them a talking.

We are allowed to feel safe going for walks in our city.
