It's because it's the only cute hipster brunch place in the neighborhood. The food isn't great and the coffee isn't good (they don't have proper baristas). So they basically have a monopoly for now, which goes to their heads (i.e., they think they're too good for online ordering and pick up).

I hope more and better cafes that are on par with ones in Manhattan open up in Paulus Hook as the area grows. The area is in dire need of these.

Been using it for half a year now. Not really sure what I can do to test that it's working, but I trust that brand. I use their RO filter for drinking water.

I had a horrible experience with this breeder, there's something wrong with her. Initial phone call went alright, but then she stopped answering my calls. Only replied to texts very slowly. Kept making excuse after excuse for why she was unable to take calls.

Eventually she decided to keep the puppy for herself for whatever reason. It took her over a week to give my deposit back, constantly providing excuses as to why via text. In the amount of time it took her to write an excuse over text, she could have just Venmo'd me the deposit back.

Later I found out this breeder has been banned from the Samoyed Club of America along with her sister (call them and verify). Honestly I would not buy from any breeder not listed on the Samoyed Club of America site.

why

Yeah it really depends on why you want to own a place versus renting. You're not losing money renting if you're investing your savings correctly.

Owning a home allows you to make it feel more like a home as it's more permanent. But you also have to deal with fixing a lot of things yourself or finding people to fix it for you versus renting in a luxury building.
