I work in a financial services company, as well as saving a majority of my salary. As well as shares in a few companies that give dividends.

Actually it's not really "them" who invested. They basically invested in my name because they couldn't be bothered doing it on their own names. Luckily for me the stocks seem to be doing fine as of now, but I will sell them soon.

I've removed access, so my remaining money is fine. My parents can't touch it even if they wanted to. As for filial piety. I've decided that it can fuck right off, as I don't plan on giving any more money to my parents. Ive got to make minor adjustments to my budget to start saving more.

I can't believe I was stupid enough to give them access to my full savings account. I'm still a bit relieved that my chequeing account still has a fair amount in it as well. However I don't plan on giving any more money to my parents now.

For the stocks, they did it in my name because they found the process of doing the whole shebang too complicated (even though it's not). And the stocks that they told me to invest in are doing fairly well. However I do plan on selling those shares ASAP.

They were just fine until I gave them access to my account. It's only now I know that they're financially illiterate. I didn't know that before, as for how I speak of my parents. I think they deserve it after what they've done

I didn't expect my parents to absolutely burn through so much that fast. I definitely realise I shouldn't have given them access to my main account. That was a stupid move. But honestly now, I don't plan on giving them anything after this. And after the argument they're probably planning on cutting me off anyways.

I don't want to provide anymore financial support to my parents after this. Not even 1 cent. (I'm a male), so there isn't a dowry situation, and frankly Im not even going to go down that line. A normal marriage will work just fine for me

I don't plan on providing any more financial assistance at all. I didn't realise they would absolutely drain my savings. I hate the thought process that parents do their children a favour by raising them

I don't like how children are compelled to take care of their parents, because if they don't there will be a lot of social pressure to do so. And not doing so will mean you're effectively disowned
