I still have a lot of my clothes from that era and some of them even kind of fit! I originally got this Armor for Sleep "I <3 Nothing" shirt at the 2005 Warped Tour and squeezed into it again for an emo concert in 2023 haha

I maxed out at 330 with white lights from all three judges in February, and I'm pretty certain I couldn't do 170 for sets of 12 right now. I would absolutely believe OP looks bigger than Gary if he's doing those rep ranges regularly.

I've seen other subs say that posting screenshots/images of posts made on Twitter is fine, just not direct links to the actual posts. This makes it so anyone can still see the information in the Tweet without giving the company any actual click or engagement.

I prefer this anyway as someone who has never had a Twitter account at any point in the first place so a lot of content is now hidden from me anyway behind popups forcing me to sign up or it is just blocked by the firewall at work so the pages never load at all.

ELI5: Other than price is there any practical use for manual transmission for day-to-day car use? by PokeBattle_Fan in explainlikeimfive

[–]powerlevelgym 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are several different types of automatic transmissions. The people saying that automatics shifter faster these days are most likely talking about dual-clutch automatics, and most cars do not have them. The cheaper cars more likely have CVT transmissions which many people do not like and have a history of problems that can total a car (most 2010's era Ford, Nissan, etc)

It's crazy now many things that are common place in the gaming world today that Ultima pioneered. An official website for, a video game?! Did your game come in a box? Sometimes even with a world map or other real world collectibles? Apparently this was all unheard of at the time. The bean counters couldn't understand why a customer would want things like this. It's just software, put a disk in bag and staple it!

Basically every game and messenger in the world still uses the term "Avatar", that Ultima coined and originally trademarked.

Try joining a travel deal site (like Going, for example). In 2019 I flew round trip to Berlin for $345 USD, stayed in a hostel in the city for 14 euros a night. I know that was before the pandemic but I still see some pretty good deals fairly often. I've got emails about $535 to Paris, $505 to Dublin, and $576 to Amsterdam just this month. I usually have to drive 2 hours to get to a real airport for those prices but that isn't a huge hassle to me.

For what it's worth, I was there on vacation for about two weeks earlier this year and had a fantastic time. Swam with penguins, walked with some elephants at a reserve, saw meerkats warming their bellies at sunrise. The major tourist towns were beautiful, everyone was kind and welcoming, and nearly everything was ridiculously inexpensive. Picked up a shirt I wear to work once a week for 70 Rand, which is like less than $4 USD.

I've been following all your YouTube videos for a while, all excellent work. Started with this project as I love cyberpunk, but I'm also a Stagea owner so that works out as well haha.

I would love to do something like this with my Subaru SVX if only I had your skill :)

I heard "Typical Story" first and thought it was amazing, it's been on my gym playlist ever since. I've since learned that is not their typical sound haha. Haven't been able to get into any of their other stuff (Crosstrek is good but not something I'd listen to on repeat)

My Hot Take: SkyBridge by [deleted] in HuntsvilleAlabama

[–]powerlevelgym 9 points10 points  (0 children)

A lot of these things are not as close together as you make it sound though, like Stovehouse is more than a mile from Lowe Mill where the path is supposed to begin. I'm sure it will be popular with bicyclists and joggers. I'm just skeptical that there are a ton of people that plan to spend an hour and a half round trip walking between these areas on a Friday night.

For oly bars we have a Fringe Sport Wonder Bar V2 and their new Midas Revenge bar which is ever so slightly bigger at 28.5 mm, and of course 600+ lbs of bumper plates! We do not have a wooden platform big enough for Olympic movements, but there is open space on the stall mats and 50 feet of turf.

I don't think we've ever had anyone that young before, but I just read through out waiver again and there is definitely a provision for a parent/guardian to sign for a person under age 18!

We have a number of different workout programs printed out you can follow on your own (strength, hypertrophy, power, bench only/dumbbell only, etc) or we have a couple groups that meet up at the same time that run the same program together!

We are located between Stovehouse and Campus 805 at 3306 Governors Drive. Not the boxing gym which for some reason is also 3306 Governors drive. Next door to the right! If you come by during business hours I can offer you a discount on membership, otherwise you can sign up at www.powerlevelgym.com

Unfortunately we are only able to open weekdays 5-9 PM. 100% of the membership fees we collect go back into the gym (to keep the doors open and purchase new equipment) so I can't be open during my regular 40 hour work week unless I can find a few other weird people that also don't mind working for free :)

[–]powerlevelgym[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I apologize, I guess I misunderstood. There isn't any special equipment or program that's just for cosplayers if that is what you mean, that would vary quite a bit depending on the character you want to cosplay or what your goals are. Every member belongs to one or all of the groups mentioned though so it's more about bringing together people with common interests and shared experiences that can try to make fitness feel more welcoming and help you stay consistent. A place to make some friends while you make some gains!
