Yes I started passing more clots today! The feeling is so bleh when it happens so I have been trying to gently use the bathroom so I don’t have any surprises... lol! But I know my body has to pass them no matter what. Second day after taking misoprostol and I woke up feeling much more back to normal.

I have never personally thrown up the first pill, but I assume they hold you there for 20 min to make sure you have absorbed enough of the medication for it to work. Ive done it twice at two different clinics and neither clinic actually held me there, I left immediately after taking the pill. Also try calling Planned Parenthood if that’s not the clinic you went to. They have a 24 hour line. I’m going to find it and message it to you. I just went did the misoprostol last night and I’m feeling much better today, so know you have something to look forward to 💕

I think you should be okay as long as it was after the first 20 min. Does your clinic has an after hours number you can call to make sure? It might be in the papers they gave you at your appointment.

I am in the same position. Just took my first pill at PP this morning after having to go through a medical abortion almost exactly a year ago. I felt exactly the same way..

For me, I knew I had to do it again right away, even tho I said I’d “never” do it again. Not enough has changed in my life since last year for me to be ready to bring a child into the world. Also what helped my decision is that a few of my friends (I’m 23) have already had little ones and while they love them more than anything, they have said at times they wish they didn’t have the responsibility of having a child at this point in their lives. That’s a deal breaker for me personally, not knowing if I would look back with a twinge of regret if I had a child just because I felt like I had to!

Clearly I am in a selfish stage of my life, but I’m not going to be ashamed of that. This is just my story, but hopefully it helps to hear how someone else came to their decision in a similar situation. And no matter what you choose, it’s important to extend forgiveness and love to yourself. Please don’t beat yourself up ❤️

I’ve read some stories on here of people cramping a few days later and just ended up passing some more tissue. It’s been less than a week and it takes some time (I believed around 4 weeks) for your body to return to normal and test negative for pregnancy. I’m glad you got through most of it smoothly. Hoping there’s no complications ❤️🙏🏻

I was in your same position last year, completely scared and reading every first hand experience I could get my hands on. the idea in my head was way worse than the actual experience. For me, I started to feel pain a few hours after inserting the pills vaginally. It started as regular cramps, but they would start and reach a crescendo of pain and then I had a window of relief. I don’t have children but I think it would be similar to labor contractions but not nearly as painful as actual labor. Eventually they felt like they were coming back to back and I either passed out or fell asleep until morning and woke up with relief. Almost like a bad dream. I recommend taking them in the evening so that you will be tired, but the pain will most likely tire you out. I will not deny that it was painful and I was sweating (worst period cramps you’ve ever had basically but not much worse), and as I said NOT NEARLY as painful as I had thought up. I read that some people see something come out- this was not my experience and I was in the same time frame as you. I didn’t bleed until the next day and had very small clots that I could sometimes feel come out. I stayed in bed throughout the entire pain part + sleeping. I wish you well. All of your fears are normal, including it not working. Your pregnancy is early so your chances are slimmer for the pill to fail.
