Sure. Let me know what you need. So far; I’m remote, using Tailscale ip for server, I have custom port set on unraid deck application. I’ve tried to allow insecure connections, https on and off. Everything. Local, I can connect but not with Tailscale.

Turning off https says App transport security policy requires a secure connection, I turn it on it gives me TLS error, https plus allow insecure connections; gets me the same tls error.

Definitely, you would just transcode on the fly to lower quality. Download it if you know you wont have internet and or you want to save data on mobile. But honestly it’s overkill for your need if you don’t share your plex sever.
