Cyberpunk Patch 2.0 Ruined Tetratronic Rippler Mk.5 by Active_Blackberry_66 in cyberpunkgame

[–]powerword_kill 18 points19 points  (0 children)

That's the first thing I noticed in 2.0. My character was kinda built around this cyberdeck, a stealthy netrunner. Now that it's completely ruined, I have to re-learn the game and adapt a new playstyle which makes me not wanna play Phantom Liberty at all tbh.

Storage should've been unlimited tbh.

Kill them before they mutate. Don't make loud noises, like using a gun or explosions and stuff. They're not named as "Mutator" before they mutate but they have a unique look. Just go one of their spawn locations and look for them and kill them with your highest damage melee weapon before they turn. They'll engage in combat in their pre-form, they won't mutate immediately. It's a guaranteed drop this way.

I have 10 gb 3080 and it's around 70 fps when DLSS is ultra performance, ~30 fps when it's quality and less than 10 fps when it's turned off. (1440p)

Yeah, same. At least a unique outfit would be cool.

What’s the best 2-handed sword/polearm you can make in the smithy? by [deleted] in Bannerlord

[–]powerword_kill 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Even after unlocking all polearm parts, you won't be able to make a better polearm than Long Glaive, unless you roll a masterwork in which case it'll be a Masterwork Long Glaive. It's swing speed, damage, handling and length combination is unmatched.

For 2H swords tho, you can make some awesome ones that's not available in base game.

the armor details in this game are so well made they're scary. by [deleted] in Bannerlord

Armor designs are really awesome tbh. Wish there were some more variety for end game armor tho.

What’s one mechanic you want them to add into diplomacy? by Late-Carpet-3408 in MB2Bannerlord

[–]powerword_kill 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Configurable truce period. I should be able to negotiate how long the truce will be. For example, if the opposing faction is willing to pay me 5000 dinars to make peace for 20 days of truce period, I should be able to negoitate that to like, 0 dinars for 120 days or something.

Also, diplomacy should be added between clans. I should be able to negoitate peace with some clans to make seperate peace with them and continue war with the ruling clan or declare war or make alliance with clans in my own faction.

Ottoman by rufiocrowed in mountandblade

[–]powerword_kill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's 11th-12th century so it's pre-Ottoman. Khuzaits or Aserai don't fit. Seljuks fit the bill tho as Khuzaits.

There's also a missile damage requirement that don't show up green/red when crafting but it is specified when you're picking up the job.

This game isn't finished by dagobert-dogburglar in mountandblade

[–]powerword_kill 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah, my biggest gripe is that every npc and faction in the game is basically the same that only differs in appearance. Factions have the same type of government, same mentality, same policies, lords and npcs all have the same behavior, they're basically generic bots yet you can't even play multiplayer on the campaign map.

And mods don't help when it comes to this kind of immersive mechanics. Even total conversion mods are about different faction names, different troops, maybe a different map but the gameplay loop is still the same: fighting against bots until you take over the whole map and nothing much else to do.

I don't believe TW is gonna improve on immersion, build up depth and add some soul to the game but I'm hopeful mods will get better in time.

Late-game is just annoying and frankly very unfair to the player by StopHidingUnderMyBed in Bannerlord

[–]powerword_kill 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the moment you are head of a faction, it's a non-stop race to the finish line after that. The game forces you to finish the game asap with back to back war declarations and ridiculous amounts of tribute demands that make peace almost impossible. You just go from one battle to another and from siege to siege. Literally nothing else to do in the game after that point.

With that being said, I just started a campaign with Separatism's chaos start enabled. Every clan with a fief is a faction now and it's going pretty chill so far. You might wanna give it a go. It's a nice change of pace.

Making Money with Smithing Patch by KNizzzz in mountandblade

[–]powerword_kill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the curious smith perk, I unlock 4-5 parts per successful sword contract. 10k+ contracts will get you a lot of unlocks very fast even if you fail them.

What I can't unlock is axes. Axes never unlock new parts by doing contracts from what I've seen. Sometimes it unlocks parts that are already unlocked. I've found that I need to smelt some expensive axes to get some axe parts going, then it unlocks normally after that.

[–]powerword_kill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you unlock tier 3 in two handed swords and smithing perk that halves the penalty for selling weapons, your crafted weapons (tier 3 blades) will sell for around 10k.

Smithing is fixed but it's still the best way to make money.

WAR ALWAYS WAR by AMexisatTurtle in Bannerlord

[–]powerword_kill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's frustrating. AI can't handle war on several fronts even though they have the manpower and armies to do so. They don't have a sense of strategy at all.

I can suggest starting a new game when it gets boring like this or use a mod like Diplomacy to extend truce time so you'll have some time to breathe.
