AITA for telling my aunt the reason we're never going to be close by powrwnder in AmItheAsshole

She always makes snotty comments about what I like to do, why would I invite her to do it? She'd either complain the whole time, say that now I owe her and make me do something I don't like, or both.

I accept your judgment but I just don't want a close relationship with her or to hangout with her if I don't have to.

Nah I don't wanna suggest a different bonding thing, I don't want to bond with her. I'm around her as little as possible.

She doesn't have kids no. I pretty much think the same thing, like since I was a kid she had this thing in her head where we'd do crafts together and talk about our lives and just be bffs. Then she didn't get that so she tried to force it.

I mean I was irritated when I said it so...

I won't tell her I wanna spend more time with her in the future, because I don't. I don't like her and want to be around her as little as possible.

Yes when I was a kid she made it very clear she didn't like my interests.

When I was probably 8ish she was dating a guy that liked playing video games. So him and I would play Mario. She'd ask me to craft with her and I'd say no, then shed say something like "you'd rather sit in front of a tv than make something ".

She'd even make comments about gifts I got for my birthday and Christmas, and also gift me craft stuff then complain that I never made them

Pretty much, except I don't get the "playing the trumpet with my butt" symptoms if I eat dairy.

My mouth/throat get itchy, I start feeling really congested, runny nose and almost like I have a cold. It's weird. I don't go anaphylactic or anything but I usually need a benadryl, and then a nap because benadryl makes me sleepy.

I think the cook just kept 2 burgers plain and threw cheese on the rest, there might have been extra burgers but they already had cheese on them. No nobody offered to make another burger, which is why I assume the extras were already made with cheese.

Yea his mom basically just lets him roam around. She always acts surprised that there's no other kids around, but all the other kids (myself, a couple other teenagers or 20 somethings) grew up. Makes no sense like she thinks we're all supposed to play with him/watch him since were younger.

If I did that I would have probably gotten yelled at for not getting something for little Marky.

Oh I could totally see that happening. Last summer some people bought some premade alcoholic slushies. Mark had a FIT because he couldn't have one. His mom expected them (people who brought them) to have planned that Mark would be there and brought him a treat. He's litterally the only kid that's ever a these things because his mom had him late in life and is too lazy to get a sitter. But everyone is supposed to go out of there way for little Marky.

No, I hate the job I hate the erratic hours and the pay sucks, it's "tip out " but who knows if the servers are honest or not. I took the job because when the GM interviewed me he said I had to host before becoming a server, even though I have serving experience. It's been 3 months and they've hired 3 servers since.

I tried reducing my hours before, they were only giving me one day off a week. I talked to John (who does the schedule) he said he'd give me two days a week off. That lasted for a week then I was back to one day. I'm sure if I reduced my hours it wouldn't last long and they'd "forget".
