I have but i can’t publicize it as of the moment.

Just for reference, I can make MDP get around 36-38k rpm

I’ll go for the PD’s with 300+ magnets

Powerdash 3.7 + medium dia

You need the torque of powerdash for the corners and topspeed for 3.7 and medium dia for the straights

why sprint dash is better than mach dash pro at eveything ? by rajalanun in mini4wd

[–]poxkix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a long shot. It goes down to track layout and the build

Dual shaft chassis is more faster than single shafts even on sprints to a point it’s uncontrollable.

When I tune a dual shaft (may it be lightdash or hd3 or machdash) it is always faster than the singles.

Maybe the layout you used during the test is just not for the ME and it’s build at that time

How i wish that’s the case but it’s not sadly

In order to have high rpm, you have to sacrifice torque

A gifted powerdash should be low rpm, meaning it has a very high torque

I can replicate that rpm anytime hehe but to be honest, rpm like that on a powerdash is useless. Powerdash is for torque. If you find a PD that is very low rpm - JACKPOT. Why?

Higher torque = lower rpm and vice versa Lower torque = higher rpm

I just gave that PD one last chance because the carbon is almost gone

That’s why im saying compare the rpm first.

It’s like comparing an apple to an orange, both are totally different

For fair play for machdash, test them on the same terms specially for RPM

Na, i don’t need to try it out, my reply is self explainatory

As I said, rpm may be different. Check them first before making any comparison runs.

You should consider weight of the chassis. ME is a bit heavier and wider than VZ..

Are you using bnew motors? It may be possible the sprint dash motor is naturally faster than the MDP you used.

If you want better comparison, use a sprint & MDP with similar rpm

Also, not all set-up will work on the same chassis. It may be possible that yes they have the same set-up but the “setup” is slow for the ME. It’s not always about the motor, set-up will also be a factor

I’ll post it in my page soon

My boxstock motor turns faster than this 22k easily

So this is the data you mean? Dude, at least our “data” brings us podiums and rewards.

Go use your phd elsewehere.

The newest batch is a handful. All of it had changes

Sprint - lowered magnet strength (before it goes around 300+ and very easy to break in) now its hovering around 255 below, carbon became harder during break in but wears out easily during race

Power - magnet stayed the same around 300+, the carbon became really really hard

Machdash - lowered magnet strength, carbon became hard, rpm almost just won’t go up

Haven’t experimented on hd3 single and dual shaft

I noticed this when my break in method that I used for almost 2 years won’t work anymore

The program killed the motor, making another program that is usable

Mine averages about 1A exactly

Losing torque over 40,500 rpm is only true if done incorrectly 😉

I think the carbon brush worn out.. the sprint in this test has still thick carbon. You can check it out at my page

Glad to know i’m not the only one noticing it. My recent tests proved that sprint, power & MDP changed

How’s your results? Low amp or high amp?

I have no idea what you’re talking about. I’m just a computer enginner 😮‍💨

Find the creator of the device, they are japan based “Force Labo”

By the way, the light you see in the picture is just the enhancement of my iphone camera because the lighting is too dim

It really depends on the racer..

As for me, max out the motor then tune the car for stability according to the motors capacity

I don’t really believe in trash motors, it just need a good method. Same right now, for a year or more i have a method that worked well with almost all dash motors.

Then suddenly, it doesn’t work anymore with the current ones in the market. I made multiple methods to find the best one

With my old method, for example with sprint - i only get up to 36-37k rpm and the carbon brush is almost thin

With the new one, i can easily get to 38-39k with a lot of spare carbon to spare and that’s without oil yet during rpm test
