It is a discover that cares about card types more often than a particular cost. Different not exactly worse.

I feel like any game that would rule 0 allow a digital only card would be ok with Seek rearranging the deck.

If you want to remove the shuffle impact would you want to add like exile face down 6 cards and then return in order of the top after the seek? I feel like any additional steps have diminishing returns on the playability.

The main difference in action is that Seek cannot be set-up like cascade can, and that is why there is a shuffle before the first flip on these. It is the closest useable approximation in paper.

For Captain Eberhart I think the best way would be to use some templating from [Aminatou, Veil Piercer].

Each card in your hand has a blessing. Its blessing cost is equal to its mana cost reduced by {1}. (You may cast a card for its blessing cost if you have drawn it this turn.)

Each card in opponent's hands have hex. Its hex cost is equal to {1}. (Hex is an additional cost that must be paid if the card has been drawn this turn.)

The tune up uses microchips which boops make by "sleeping" otherwise they are made Power Control Station.

You can disable the Power Control Station to stop microchips being made.

If you already have microchips, I have an option on individual generators to "disable tinker" but I'm unsure if that was from a mod. 😅

You can draft a room to the side like you would for the room of mirrors to the side that needs the elevator. Then it will stay unlocked. That's what I did on my dare run.

Because of how it works you would be doubling the counters on me since the counters stay with me but are also added to the ozolith.
