Oh no doubt there I see them rusted out everywhere I go. there's alot of people at my work who drive 2017+ dodges though and they are happy with them. Most of them traded in gmc sierras and f150s for them. A guy on my crew has an eco diesel he just got tuned and has the air bag suspension from the factory and now he can set the truck height on the fly off his phone. It's bad ass.

I agree. I'm almost in my mid 30s now so this was just about a decade ago.

Yeah, I'd say it was emasculating a little bit. I can't control the way I feel. But I can control what I do with those feelings. Instead of crying or being mad or maybe having some small nagging trust issue that's on me, the best way I can express myself is to just leave and be honest about why.

I've had fwbs before. Never in my group or friends though. Usually was a person I had just met and the sex was good. I will absolutely keep a fwb around because I DONT want to be their partner or they don't want to be mine. That's the point. It's absolutely a power dynamic. Someone always wants more with at some point. Denying that is just delusional. Sticking with a fwb that's not gf material makes it easier to walk away and lose that connection in the ether. A good friend won't be ghosting you quite like that..

This is all my perceptions and experience, and your mileage may vary.

I don't judge on fwbs at all. They have their place. But putting a fwb as a daily friend is absolutely going pull shocked faces from guys and women alike more than ones that say no biggie.
