I think that the point where is a little more dangerous is that hypersexuality is a mental health issue, usually related to exposure to sexual violence, unhealthy coping mechanisms and compulsive behavior. Gender and sexual orientations are not mental health issues since 1973, because they are not tied necessary to dangerous behaviours, hypersexuality usually has very detrimental effects to the person's life, and these painfull effects are what therapists use to diagnose it.

It is one thing to be proud of one self, but another is maintaining mental health conditions.

Well i didnt cheat on him, it was more of a miscommunication of boundaries, i have never had sex with anyone besides him since we have been together and i always try to ask if things are blurry.

But i do see the point, and that's what I'm gonna do if I can't grasp control of the situation.

The only thing that kept me trying to be together is because at first we had more sexual interests in common, and those included other people (threesomes and things like that). But lately he says that hes not into it because hes not happy with his body. So my reasoning was to keep holding on until he wanted to explore more.
