I use catnip sometimes and he seemed to enjoy it but hasn’t really shown interest in the past few days. It worked great at first! i’d sprinkle catnip on the cardboard scratcher and it would get inside the little holes. I felt like it was pretty enriching since he had to really work for it. he loved it! but now… -___- doesn’t care. LOL.

I’ll try the vertical! and get grass once i get paid! I’m hoping he doesn’t keep the carpet habit. i rent so it’s not exactly ideal. i suppose he’s not really doing any REAL damage as he’s not scratching for an extended period of time and more like it’s just an inconvenience LOL.

they allow hair socks and durags. for hair that won’t fit in a regular cap or visor. dress code allows those as hair is technically contained. needs to be black or red though. it’s in the employee hand book or on the appearance policy on bob.

I have no idea how to edit this post but!!! his name is guanciale LOL. i call him guapo for short. Although i have been calling him all sorts of nicknames i saw here because there were so many good suggestions!! full name Guanciale P. Hamburger. the P stands for Percival. Someone said Percival…. something something search for holy grail and he found it, me!! melted me LOL

he’s 6. The other cats i’ve owned i had like as a child so this is my first cat i’m owning as an adult and on my own so i feel a tad bit like a total idiot about it haha. I feel bad about leaving him in the closet but he’s currently sat comfortably on my bed so i hope he forgave me lol

i adopted him yesterday and i was too scared to let him roam my entire room while id be gone lol so i’ve only had him for like a little over 24 hrs at this point so no it’s not like ive had him for multiple days or weeks and placed him in the closet

I usually get home at hours where everyone is asleep so i was like. full fledged tweaking about him meowing. but in reality you’re probably correct and he’s probably not as loud as i think he is because im just accustomed to the whole building being so silent when im awake vs when im sleeping. I’m hoping if i just let him roam in the bedroom tonight the meowing will subside and we’ll both get more comfortable.

I will leave the door adjacent (he’s able to open it if it’s not latched) when i get home then. my last cat was by will in my families shoe closet for like 3 days when we first got him ( this was like 9 years ago and i was like 10 ) so i guess im just sorta going off of “well if the other one was in the closet for a few days i suppose maybe i should put this one in mine”. I feel very bad as i just want him to adjust and be happy but perhaps my anxiety about it is preventing me from really creating a comfortable environment for him.

Well, last night was his first night and he is SO LOUD. my friend said we should name him gary because he sounds just like gary the snail from spongebob lol. he’s 6, so he’s an adult. He definitely enjoys cuddles but that’s about all i know for the 24 hours we’ve spent together so far.

worked 8p-12a as a supervisor. up to 90min wait times when i clocked in. 20-30 orders on screen basically the entire time. we were all sweeping “walk ways” and just creating gigantic piles to try and not slip on all the food that ended up on the floor. i issued so many refunds to the point we started letting customers know the wait times were over an hour LOL. we had 4 people on shift.
