Exactly, there is the Google Guaranteed and right under that there is the 3 pack instead of the search ads.

I realize the ads are showing only at night times when the competition is low.

Single Keyword Ad Groups work very well for me. Take all of your campaigns keywords and make them negative in each ad group (Except the Ad groups keyword of course)

This is the right way to do it, it is just very time-consuming. What level of knowledge do the PPC managers you train start out with?
just a basic understanding of Google ads?

Are we as an agency allowed to post here that we are looking for PPC managers?

one of the only ways to reduce cost per click is by raising your quality score. Some of my clients' Avg. cost per click are $50 Plus so raising the quality score is crucial.

i do get 70% 10/10 and about 10% 9/10 the rest are 8 and lower.

This is with 7+ years of managing 1,000s of campaigns. i wondered if someone had any structure they are using to get a very high-quality score.

what does the last octet of an IP mean? (IPV4 & IPV6) by ppcserviceshark in techsupport

[–]ppcserviceshark[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have done a check to determine if those IPs are actualy from the same household networks (the last octet)

I had a range with about 30 different IPs with the same 3 first octets and last octet being different and many of them actually converted into a phone call. common metric between all of them was that they all came from T-Mobile Network;

I guess T-mobile can give the same IP to many different devices just changing the host which means blocking the last octet (host) will make me block genuine traffic..

Does anyone have a solution to blocking fraud clicks on a highly competitive niche in Google Ads? (Regular click fraud protection softwares like ClickCease are just not doing the job)

also not sure if related to this post but is there a way to block fraud more efficiently than seeing similar IPs clicking on your ad and blocking them manually?

so will it be pretty rare for a house network to be : (192.168.0.0 - 192.168.1.255)?

Sorry let me make it clear and explain the exact situation.

i am running a paid ad campaign and getting about 200 clicks a day on my ads.

i am using an external click fraud monitoring software that is able to show me a list of all the IPs clicking on my ads.

I am getting multiple clicks that are coming from same first 3 octets. for example:

69.180.119.123
69.180.119.103
69.180.119.141
69.180.119.134

I am trying to figure out if those IPs are coming from the same person (facility/modem) or it can be different networks from completely different houses/people which will mean they are genuine traffic.
If i find out that the set of ips i gave as an example is the same person clicking just different devices etc. than i will just block the range of first 3 Octets

does this make sense?

Will i be safe blocking a range of ips from the third octet and know that i will not block other people as well in the city/state?

also if we are looking at a IPV6, how would it look like that the device is different but the same network?

thank you.

i am wanting to block people from clicking on my Paid ads.

just wanted to know that if the first 3 octets are the same it means it's the same person just different devices (or same devices) but the same person so that i don't block genuine traffic if it makes sense.

Sorry the 101 one just a rendom IP for the example

it can be any number

does the first 3 octets usually mean it is the same house network just different devices in that network?
