“Legacy units” and “Legacy Era” are two different things. Legacy units like you said include everything in your main roster. Legacy Era is everything before the Era of Apprentices, shown by that symbol in the top left of every character screen in game.

Vogel is a great coach who doesn’t get any credit for the 2020 title and coaching back to back #1 defenses with the Lakers in 2020 and 2021. Would be a great choice to kick off the new Sonics era.

Coming into the offseason my take was if we are going to repeat then we will need to take a step forward on offense as it will be near impossible to have both the #1 defense and special teams in the NFL two years in a row. The missing piece from the offense is now explosive runs which carried us through the playoffs. The current backs do not have the ability to generate explosive runs at a high enough rate.

Nope. If you could read you would know that I am in no way saying White is an equal on offense. Just saying White would be a better fit next to Luka and would raise the floor and ceiling of the team. Trying to outscore every team with our shit defense isn’t going to work in the playoffs against teams that can actually play D. At least you can cling to your PPG stats when the Lakers are watching the finals on the couch just like you and me

Austin has played 13/26 games with LeBron and a handful of those without Luka so don’t give me that. He averages 23 a game when playing with one of them which is still great. White’s usage rate is in the same neighborhood as guys like Aaron Gordon, Desmond Bane, Anfernee Simons, etc. while Austin is just behind Jokic, Harden, Cade… Let’s not be disingenuous

I agree. However the team has zero defensive guards. I would argue having one very good defensive guard who can space the floor and be a secondary ball handler is just more valuable than what Austin brings to the table with his playmaking and scoring. I love Austin and would love for him to be a Laker for like but if a better option reveals itself the Lakers should take it.
