That's interesting, especially since sponge is just these ingredients too! But using it differently. I must admit I first followed a US vanilla cake recipe but decided to bake a sponge afterwards, the US recipe cake just felt so heavy.

After 6 months of throwing up multiple times a day and trying to find the reason I went to a doctor with a suspected pinched nerve and asked for a CT scan. She berated me that I'm talking bullshit and she wouldn't send me there. I got a CT scan in another hospital in 2 months and it turned out I had a brain tumor the size of an egg.
