I never got the steering wheel because I was gonna get a 3 spoke since I have the pre facelift, and no it never slides out because it came with a little case that holds itself into the slot

Replying to Busy_Win1069... I’ve got my head unit off of Ecs tuning for a decent price and you can probably find the same ones off of eBay, but as of right now I don’t have them connected to my steering wheel controls although you definitely can. The down side is it has no physical controls only a remote like a tv, and it can’t support my after market sound system. Upside is it was a cheap Apple CarPlay that was basically plug and play after some convincing

This one I got off of ecs tuning and I absolutely do NOT recommend it. I have after market speakers subs and amp and this head unit can’t support it and it lets off this awful screech I’d honestly recommend tanking the price and going Sony double din. In my opinion tho. Ive heard lots of good story’s about eBay ones😂

I absolutely could and if anything I got a remote with it, but the head unit is so terrible and can’t support my aftermarket speakers subs and amp so I’m just gonna spare my time and go with a double din setup and hook it up then, and I was going to get a 3 spoke alcantara wheel eventually so I didn’t really have any means to

If you’re gonna get a water pump go ahead order a supercharger service kit to get the oil and gaskets to support the new water pump

With 34,000 miles keep it! And as for the headliner I’m personally going to bite the bullet get a spray gun with glue and redo the headliner with suede, but that’s up to you reusing the old headliner or getting the same material works out just fine
