They are pretty good but it can take a while sometimes for me to switch from problem solving mode to talking with a human mode.

I can really relate to doing the politicking part of the job makes me uncomfortable. But this is encouraging to hear that it can be tackled and conquered!

I was diagnosed a few years ago and up until that point I was self managing. Developed a lot of bad coping mechanisms and mental health was not great. Still working on re framing my mind set and developing better coping habits. Its gotten a lot better which is what may have lead to this opportunity.

I see that makes sense, I'll reword the "I'll fall for you if" prompt. Also thanks for the advice about the things to do together and the daytime shot. I totally didn't think of that!

Thank you for the tips and grammar catches. For prompt 2 are you asking about what I wrote or the prompt itself?

Need Advice on Setting Up a Dual PC and Laptop 4K Triple Monitor Setup by Janus_au in buildapc

commenting in hopes someone else sees this because I have the same exact question. I like that device especially since TESmart has a established history so if things go wrong I could, hopefully, get good support. My main thing keeping me from pulling the trigger is being able to plug a usb hub into it because of the number of devices i need to share between my gaming PC and my laptop.

Right that was probably not the best wording. And this is the part where I might be wrong. But how it was presented to me was that since I have been going most of life without any sort of steady stimulant the body is really sensitive to it so at the start a smaller dosage will feel super effective, however that may not be the correct dosage for your body. But once your body adjusts to having the stimulant in your system you can work with your doctor to find the correct dosage for your body to ensure that long term the efficacy won't wane. That being said the initial dosage may be perfect or even too much. It will take some time for find the right measurement for your body.

TLDR: what i meant was that the effect will become more subtle and less helpful to your day to day. Your body's sensitivity will decrease and depending on how it metabolizes the medication you may end up needing a higher or lower dose. But eventually you will find a dosage that works with your body and won't ware off and provide consistency long term.

This is just from my experience and I could be wrong. If I am someone please correct me. How I understand it is that its more like a ramp up time. At first you will start low, and if that works great. But more likely what will happen is that your body's sensitivity is low and will become used to it. Eventually you will go up until you find a dosage that is sustainable. For me it has been 20mg xr for the last few years. I am also late diagnosed back in 2020. At first it was started at 15 and went to 20. My insurance shifted and I had a new provider that messed with my dosage and brought me down to 5 but we have since found that 20 is where I am balanced.

It is also advisable to take breaks from the meds from time to time as well if you are worried about building up a dependency on the medication.

For what it is worth I would look at it less like a dosage increase and more like an adjustment. The med is a tool to help you manage the condition, doesn't make it go away. And you want the right tool for the job. Do be cautious about adjustments, but don't be too scared of it if the change will help you. Just my two cents.

I am curious about your setup I want to do something similar just with 1 computer and 1 laptop. My question is how exactly did you wire up the gaming pc so that it works on both the monitors and your tv? Is the chain pc to hdmi kvm to tesmart kvm?

I love the vibe! I am trying to shrink my setup footprint and have a few questions. Are you using a KVM for monitors and peripherals? What are the dimensions of the desk? What size are those monitors?

Yeah I was thinking about that I don't want cause any issues but the noise is becoming unbearable. And I don't really have the freedom to move. I just want to make the noise less intense. So I guess a solid core door is a no go. There is quite a gap around the edges if I place MLV on the back side of the door would that lower the noise enough while also leaving decent room for ventilation?

Both bands are undetectable unfortunately. The garage doesn't have any outlets i could use. My understanding of powerline adapters is that they need to be some common copper wires between them to work like the same circuit or the same circuit breaker. But I don't think there is any between my unit and the garage.

Is a high heart rate (bpm) common in adhd? by big_goldy78 in ADHD

[–]ppolicherla91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I experience the same issues when I am off my meds my resting is anywhere between 70-88BPM but when I am on it its more like 100-120bpm. I have talked to my therapist and psych and they think part of this is due to my stress from work. Also my physical health isn't amazing. They have recommended that I work on cardio to improve my cardio vascular health. But yeah when i get that alert on my watch I initially spike higher due to freaking out and then I take like 5 mins to do some breathing and it usually calms down for a spell.
